hi.. wanna ask.. im using a single 8gb ram... is there any difference using a pair of 4gb ram?? if yes should i buy another 8gb ram for pairing it immediately??

Hi guys, would like to get a recommendation for a download rig as my laptop just died. Rig will be running 24/7 and will be connected a lcd and to my lcd tv for movie playback, i.e. dual monitor. Any suggestions?
[Budget] - below RM1k [Purpose] - download, movie playback through lcd tv, HD movies included. [Hardware that will be reused from old rig] - Nil [Monitor Resolution] - No need full HD [Game or software used frequently] - Utorrent, Firefox, VLC Will a desktop be better? Or should I buy another laptop? |
