What is the model number of that power supply? A lot of Huntkey power supplies are problematic. Only a few models can handle the actual load.
*
Din't heard that PSU before...rather go with seasonic smile.gif

My entertain is on video  smile.gif hope to get smooth load on Full HD video.
But the HD4000 still can do light gaming on medium setting ?
*
Yes the Intel HD4000 can watch movie on high reso, mid game like maple, dota 2, dota, mat, blackshot all can support with nice fps...

Since your entertainment is on video the Intel HD4000 is more than enough smile.gif...you next time you would like to play demanding game like bf3 and mw3 you can just go for a 7770 or a even high end which is the the new 660ti...660ti price in Malaysia is more exp than his brother which is higher in performance...maybe after 1 year you would like a dedicated GPU and price may be fixed to it performance point smile.gif

still to that and save up smile.gif

sound good for me.. just now go C-Zone, they suggest me i5 3550 + HD6850
*
I tips we learn here is don't believe on salesman smile.gif you're going for video rendering and light gaming...i7 will make the rendering process smoother...if you're doing 3d rendering then u need a dedicated graphic...stay with the Intel HD4000 for a year and save up to buy a dedicated graphic if u have the budget coz u're motherboard got virtual mvp which can fully ultilize the performance of the Intel HD4000 and dedicated gc...

Actually u're good to go ard smile.gif

Was looking into the recommended mobo, and found out H77 boards (GA-Z77-D3H) from Gigabyte has this feature "Lucid Universal MVP Support" where else I don't see that function on the recommended GA-H77-D3H (or do you mean the GA-H77M-D3H instead?). Question now is does that feature actually work and worth paying the extra bucks for it? Most importantly works with any GPU or only the recent ones as I will be reusing my 4870.
*
That's the old one, I think.....
The one I heard is virtual mvp....
This actually use both the intel hd4000 with ur gpu
They use the onboard intel hd4000 for video encoding
While the dedicated gpu for games and extreme rendering smile.gif

Whops sorry bro, messed up with it. Yeah I was referring to the Z77.
What interest me is this...

So I was thinking if I got the more expensive board with that virtual mvp, then it would be a 'free' upgrade to my aging 4870? That is provided this actually works?
*
Yes virtual mvp use the intel graaphic on ur gpu...
Maybe ask other sifu here...using phone hard to tell...

I concur. IF can top up to rm3k = a new system with GTX670 = more future proof.
*
Maybe he should try selling his rig now....
And save up RM500 with his old rig RM500
3k will be better than going on a budget...
Even he get a decend gpu, his cpu will bottle neck
So why not just chg the whole thing

ahh..ic, so v6gt is only win in terms of aesthetic only? Thought that dual fans would actually means it's better  sweat.gif

Actually I don't mind of big metal tower stood inside my rig, in fact I feel much more orgasm and macho by that  rclxm9.gif
But wouldn't deny that liquid cooler actually make our rig looks much clean and professional, dilemma  sweat.gif
*
612s also can do two fan which means push pull config...
Actually 612s is good ard if u do ligh oc...
AIO wc is also cooler and quieter smile.gif

hmm i heard they are bad

yeap...bad controller with risk on corupting all the files on it...their new 820 ssd is the best! i think samsung sdd should be recommend for those guys who do hardcore randering...gaming m4 or intel 330 will do....

Intel 520, OCZ Vertex 4 and Samsung 820 ssd is very good and those who do rendering should go for that smile.gif
