Just want to share a Kickstarter project here which I think is quite interesting. A RTS game similar to Total Annihilation and these people have worked on C&C Generals Zero Hour, Sup Com and Total Annihilation.
From what I understand, that video is just an animation to show the gameplay concept. The TF2 graphics is not the actual game graphics.
Anyway, I think they have quite some interesting RTS concept, even if don't per-order the kickstarter thing, its worth keeping an eye on this project and see what they come up with.

I pledged the moment I saw this.
It's a real shame that mass battle-based RTS' never took off and all of them seem to try and outdo Starcraft. I think the closest thing we've had in the last few years that was similar to TA was RUSE.
Anyway, I like the simple geometry graphics that they're using there. Reminds me a lot of the original TA... plus, hearing that they're using classical music for the score and they even have the original TA narrator, really shows the devs are trying to usurp Supreme Commander as the true spiritual sequel to TA.
it's basically what total annihilation should evolve to in this day/age, planetary scale, throwing planets to your opponent's face etc. from publisher's POV, too risky, may not yield much... and that's where kickstarter comes in
I know a guy who pledged 10k to the game. He says the devs are willing to make giant penis commanders if he paid 40k more
if only i have that much money (in usd no less!) XD and hell, i'd actually wish him luck to do just that so i can actually see a d*** commander in the game
its all hype and games until someone gets delivered a broken game
im gonna wait until at least a real gameplay vid or 1v1 vid
Its not some random nobody making this, this game is being developed by industry veterans who have worked on games like Total Annihilation and other games that I don't remember to name(you can check their bloody video)

Show us the gameplay first. Being industry vets does not exclude you from potentially delivering a broken game. See John Romero and Daikatana for such a fail.
