Just got a You:nique card. Apart from cashback, no other perks right?

I guess I don't have a lot of commitments yet so I don't get to fully utilise this card, haha.

I use this card for transactions that can't get cash back from other cards, and for one-off large purchases. Usually the card is under utilised and it gets little to no cash back. But last month my sister wanted to purchase a Macbook Pro and was not comfortable bringing 6k of cash to the shop, so she asked for my help. I got RM59 cash back thanks to this card. biggrin.gif

Yeah I have the same idea. Maybe if I have a large purchase before the free annual fee period runs out then I'll get to make one transaction tongue.gif

Hey guys, just want to clarify something about younique's cashback (the table on their site seems a bit ambiguous to me)

So if I buy a phone that's worth 2.1k with the card (and only that transaction for that month), I should be receiving 3% cashback?

Nope.. the cashback is tiered.. so for that purchase, you will get RM23 of cashback.. calculation as follow:

1000 x 0.5% = 5
1000 x 1.5% = 15
100 x 3.0% = 3

Oh really? Thanks!

I thought it could be that too since > 3000 is 0.3% ... but that seemed incredibly low so I thought it couldn't possibly be the case ...
