if u can tahan the hardness then it's ok. if not better don't

got the set for RM850 including installation

got auto and manual, it's actually perodua original accessories, go SC and look for it, doesn't matter even it's for Myvi, is the same as Kenari.

install it urself?
*
haha you will need to go to SC to get it, normally they don't keep stock, i suppose.

at first install by myself, but ended up send to accs. shop as my drill bit is not for steel... there is four bolt and nut in total.

so many SC, which one?

just had my a/c compressor changed, recond unit including labour and service the piping 400
*
previously got it from car show actually, where perodua is selling merchandise, afaik you can walk-in to SC and order.

QUOTE(blueskylim @ Oct 5 2012, 02:11 PM)
bro , can teach how to diy the room leg led ther ? wer u buy the led ?
*
ahh how to teach? if meet up still can explain a bit. alternatives, you can send to accs. shop to install. i got it from Jalan Pasar, not exact automotive stuff but the LED run at 12VDC and waterproof or water splash proof, quite durable i would say.

QUOTE(wayken @ Oct 6 2012, 01:22 AM)
Can aerosport tail lamp fit into GXi kenari?? Need to do any modification??
*
can. either drill a whole at car body to fit in a clip or sacrifice the flip then it's plug 'n' play. get to know this info long long time ago, but personally still haven't try.

Jalan Pudu or Jalan Pasar? anyway, get back an original one as imitate tail lamp's color will fade after times. or else, look for half cut and change one pair icon_idea.gif

I am a Perodua Kenari drive as well
Gold color Year 2003 model,
by the way I have something to ask from fellow Kenari owners, It's about black oils
My friend help me bought a NASA GD8 motor oil 10W30 API SL/CF,
Does anybody here tried that motor oil before?
And what it's the feedback about it? Good or bad?
Been told not to fooling with motor oil, because it will cause overhaul. So am a bit afraid I it.
And what motor oil rating is suitable for Kenari?
Thanks you for the feedback.
*
hi there! welcome! rclxms.gif
never try a NASA engine oil before as i'm using the one i'm selling. information i can provide for you is Kenari needs 5W30 or 10W30, number in front doesn't really a matter, as long as the rear is 30.

guys... what rear abs you guys using ar? which is reliable and durable. i need durability more than soft/hard as the rear abs always spoilt...

and kenari rear when loaded with people is always very soft (maybe due to a dead abs)... wonder will adding those coil spring buffer helps? anyone using?

wink.gif
*
i'm using apm performax for rear, pair with stock spring. when Kenari loaded with people at the back then the car low down is because of the spring. i'm goin to change to another spring soon, remain secret until i get it done icon_rolleyes.gif

QUOTE(alexcky @ Jan 13 2013, 04:55 PM)
can recommend a good mechanic workshop to service my kenari?

engine vibrate vry strong..not sure whats wrong
*
normally engine vibrate is due to engine mounting, what's your mileage?

QUOTE(ekestima @ Jan 13 2013, 08:50 PM)
How much does it cost for engine mounting ? Any one change b4 ? How many piece / pieces of engine mounting does the engine has ?

Thx
*
mine is rm300++ for the engine mounting alone; labour, i done it myself... no point going for genuine as the lifespan only longer a bit compare to third party, mine so far already run 20,000+km/one year, with the price i paid for, i expect it can last me 2/3 years then good enough. 3 piece engine mounting, front below the oil filer, one at the side beside gearbox, one at the back.

QUOTE(yewlin @ Jan 15 2013, 08:21 PM)
yes A Drive - RM155/pc...expensive?

size is 14 inch brand enkei...he told me is myvi rim wor
*
sounds very cheap to me drool.gif Enkei Myvi rim means you're using the Myvi SE rim.

QUOTE(malutapimau @ Jan 15 2013, 08:56 PM)
rm155 is ok, which shop
but A drive you need to be extra careful when its raining wor

nearly kill me twice, its wet traction like non existence
dun drive more than 50kmh in raining/wet

-----

if we plan to change kenari transmission frm auto >> manual or vice versa
do we need to inform the authorities/insurance co?
*
there is some procedure from my understanding, send the car to puspakom (jpj) to check, that gonna mean your car condition must be legal, then only insurance co. but afaik on experience i saw, non of my friends bother about it, be it transmission or body color.

QUOTE(MissDyanne @ Jan 23 2013, 01:09 AM)

QUOTE(ahsam1212 @ Apr 1 2013, 03:15 PM)
Do u change water pump too when it's time to change running belt?
*
the shop i went suggested me to do so, reason is simple, since you already pay for the labour to change timing belt, water pump is just another few bolt then done. it's more like a preventive maintenance as think yourself that if water pump start to leak after timing belt changed, worst if not very long ago, you'll need to pay the same labour again. well again, it's still your choice. if you've decided to change, ask for good one, or else water leak will still happen. also, remember to add coolant, not water icon_rolleyes.gif

Hi, want to ask did i need jpj approval in installing bolt on turbo on my kenari?
*
hi! no need as long as you're using the original engine. but well, if you BOT, police and jpj block they might kacau you as they will keep an 'extra' eye see if you have any illegal mod if your 'fridge' is big enough for them to spot.
