but before you lose your phone, there is Avast mobile security. Once you've enabled the anti theft feature to install it on root, and using a fake app name to trick would be thieves from deleting it.

also protects you incase they try to remove the SIM, you will be notified by sms what the new SIM is. Not to mention you can set it to auto begin deleting your data when it detects the sim card has been removed, or to lock down the phone so it cannot be accessible unless they input the correct pin code.

The thief also cannot reformat the sd internal because avast will block unauthorized users from doing so unless they input the pin and remove the admin privilege for avast before they can uninstall avast anti theft from root.

Also shows you the gps location of the phone.
