also it's something similar to disabling User account control (UAC) for windows 7, in the sense that once you root your phone, your more susceptible to hacks and malware e.g. Mempodroid.

But this is a risk all of us who root our phones accept. The smart ones obviously install security apps like avast mobile security, adaway, SuperSU, amongst others for precautionary measures 

So if you manage the security of your android, then i think the risk is well worth it, seeing as a lot of useful apps require that your android smartphone is rooted.

if you think your mobile security is inconsequential then that is your choice and i respect that. but i am more prudent based on my android usage, and the stuff of personal value i keep on my phone worth protecting 

but it's not like i am making this up, just refer to the sources i've linked and find out for yourself how vulnerable android really is

Yap both of them also on as visible, S3 can search for Iphone 3GS, but can't find the Galaxy Note... Is it can say that sometime wrong on Galaxy Note Bluetooth ?

By the way i need some tips for titanium backup ....

i only want to backup the apps and data as normal + contacts + sms + phone settings.

However i don't want to backup standard apps + service files from the stock rom itself.

Seeing as few days from now i will be upgrading from ICS to Jelly Bean, i don't want to accidentally recover/overwrite apps from ICS to JB, as i'm worried that may have some side effects

So any tips on how to exclude those stuff ?

Is there a setting in titanium that knows how to exclude those sorts of things without me having to un-tick them myself manually for each and every one ?

yeah i know root using odin...already download that...
but 1st we need to install some sort of  "driver" right b4 we root?is that correct?

haiz... tried vlc, dice player, vplayer, and even the latest mx player pro.

All not so great for jelly bean :{

on ICS the mx player 1.6f worked fine no prob.

But have to upgrade to 1.6j for jelly bean compatibility. I lose dts, but okay nevermind. But don't know why it crash for an anime video that worked without issue on ics >->; sigh...

So now i don't have a decent video player

hye all...i've downloaded games like mib3 gt free and RF2012 then i found GL TO SD APPS which i understand the apps can transfer gameloft games or gameloft games data to external sd card...then i run the apps to move gameloft games to ext card..and its been moved....so after moving it....when i want to play RF or MIB, it ask me to downlaod additional data 300mb ++....im kinda confused....plzz help

should i use antivirus and task killer?
