Sammobile just released new firmware I9300XXDLH8..anyone tried?

Just wanted to update on my video player situation.

mx player pro 1.6j is still crashing ...

but vplayer works. Apparently had to play the video via S/W mode and it played just fine.

For mx player on jelly bean, regardless if i set to HW, Fast SW or normal SW, still crashed 1 minute into the video, even when i fast forward to another scene in the video.

640x480 mkv play time 25 minutes

works fine on vplayer perfectly 
This will be my main driver until mx player has a version that is more stable for jelly bean

On ICS mx player pro is king, but on jelly bean my own experience, it's not stable :{

I noticed that battery life for me improved drastically by use of task killer app specifically easy task killer advance which i am using

With it i am able to get my quadcore cpu to deepsleep mode when on idle. Without it doesn't probably because i have many apps installed. but the stats speak for themselves which is why i use it.

Alternatively Watchdog task manager takes a different route to things. Instead of ending tasks automatically, it insteads monitors which apps are cpu/battery intensive and warns you to signal out which apps are frequent culprits. You would then examine these apps settings to see if you can improve the situation, and in last resort to uninstall if you couldn't improve the battery drain.

also for antivirus people are in 2 camps, those saying it's worth having, while others say no need.

Personally i think you should have it because it uses little battery (unless when activelly scanning based on your schedule), detects/prevents viruses/spyware, and has useful anti theft features in case your phone gets lost or stolen.

So the way i see it, the benefits way outweigh the doubts. Also avast mobile security is free and doesn't cost you a single cent 

watch dog can be configured to monitor
1. cpu intensity duration of apps
2. duration app is active

then you would set a trigger for duration or cpu intensity or both for the watchdog to alert you about.

Apparently the battery drain is caused by some error in coding files.
But the XDA only offers solution for rooted phones.

Anyone have any solution for unrooted phones? T_T
