It is something like, in the first impression, xp2 will sounds flatter, more bass... xp3 has a slight v shape, more details. I would categorize xp3 is for more patient people as they require more burn in time.

QUOTE(azyune @ Nov 27 2012, 08:04 PM) I get the feeling XP1 is so underrated.. ohwai Yeah, xp3 finishes fastest. walabies, so I guessed XP3 is always the fastest one got out of stock, no? The reason is that in this sub RM200 region, people love to listen to more audiophile music, some has more details to be dug. XP1 is a fun IEM, I can listen for it with the intention of entertaining myself. |

QUOTE(nicotine @ Dec 1 2012, 01:14 AM) how does this compare with senn cx215 series ? You might have the solution.I'm abit annoyed with the tangling with the cx215... flat cable type should solve my problem listen vocal, ambient stuff mostly. QUOTE(azyune @ Dec 1 2012, 09:19 PM) How much XP1 bass amount compare to beats solo/tour? XP1 bass is different from the beats one. Beats bass are rather uncontrolled, dispersed while xp1 focus more on mid bass but still tight.Does XP1 lose quite noticeable details compared to the other two models? I've been thinking since this XP series emphasize on bass strength, why not go all out with XP1. Quantity wise to be frank beats wins all out but their frequency are all tainted with bass. |

QUOTE(azyune @ Dec 10 2012, 07:26 PM) Yeah I did some reading, looks like these particular IEM characteristics are the main cause. Now I tried inserting slowly while open my mouth to give more room to air to compress Does it happen to all the songs?Tried double flange but didnt like losing the bass intensity and also the insecure feeling of the buds hanging too far worrying it might come off anytime soon. So its safe to assume this is normal case. Sometimes I did feel the balance is off by ~5%-10% more to R. I hope the driver itself is not at fault. While at it I tried few other tip sizes and some of them give more balanced output at certain position means good isolation is another factor here.. Looks like have to consider Hippo Foam after all Thanks~ Im enjoying it much Actually some of the songs are recorded left right not balanced. It is quite normal. Some is due to player etc... many factors... If it really a very huge difference do give us a beep. Hope you enjoy your XP! |

QUOTE(lerijiso @ Dec 17 2012, 12:44 AM) Thanks. I saw u listed Wowloud. Anyone here bought from them before? How's their service? yes wowloud is taking stocks from us. it is original. They currently have Xmas promotion for the XP series. Only RM 179. Im thinking of getting the XP3. Is it safe to get from them or should i just go Jaben? QUOTE(mrsu @ Dec 17 2012, 06:47 AM) Regarding the cracking noise when you insert the xp inside your ears,it might because of the ear tip,and XP1 and XP2 has this problem as XP3 dont have this kind of sound,if you are away,XP3 ear tip's nozzle hole(the silicon) is smaller than those from xp1 and xp2,so the ear tip might not squeeze as much as xp1/2,hence no cracking sound. There are a lot of factors causing the cracking sound, especially IEMs. It might be even your physical, you ear canel shape causing the vibrations etc. Anyway, you can switch left and right see it is your ear causing the problems. That is what I observed. The cracking sound is only exist when you push it inside the ears right? QUOTE(trisx @ Dec 17 2012, 03:43 PM) how does XP2 compared to klipsch S4 or Sony MH1C? still deciding between these 3. You definitely should try XP2, cos... it is cheaper, no harm to try...and yeah my playlist is rock song n dubstep all the way |

QUOTE(mareno77 @ Dec 30 2012, 02:28 AM) Not only when touching, it also noticeable when moving around, like when head is bobbing up and down /left to right. Tried using foam, albeit DIY one. The flange/air sound is still there and only on the right earpiece. The sound is more noticeable when playing song with continuos mid to high treble sound. Any way, went to Jaben today to let them have a look on it and see what can be done. Now just wait for the result. In the meantime, its back to PL50 for me, of which I really like, except for the lacking of bass. Did you tried on some of the foams? |

QUOTE(akira87 @ Jan 24 2013, 09:54 PM) Yeah, i know... Since it didnt effect the sound quality, im quite ok with it. But im expecting a perfect condition for a brand new stuff. Akira87, if you feel it is troubling you. You can come to our store to exchange a new one.But overall, im quite statisfied with my XP2. My first 'branded' earphone thou There were rumours that people buying iPhone 5 from Maxis store is getting a scratched back surface one, sometimes QC has glitches that is normal... |

People just like silver I don't know why.QUOTE(Hazmatyre @ Feb 14 2013, 11:54 AM) Just got my XP2 recently. It's pretty nice for my first set of IEM's, but I can't get over how sibilant (the sharp *tiss* sounds) it is. Do I have to burn it in or something? EQ? DRC? First yes you should burn in.Second, which player you are using? What type of format of songs? Do you close all the EQ? |
