White hippo box? Hippo box+, hippo cricri? Btw, still burning in, hope the highs won't stay that way..like the Beyer DT231, at first the high are very high, but after using it for a year, it getting more neutral.
*
Let it settle down for a longer time. Beyer products tends to have longer burn in time.

Hi guys, is it comfortable and lightweight like fa eterna and phonak pfe?
*
Nop, first it is made from the sturdy metal, it won't be light weight like PFE, I say slightly heavier than Eterna.
But do keep in mind they are different category.

The Martini+ is awesome. biggrin.gif Currently using the Govibe MBA MK2 with my PFE022 and KSC75. It's a very super portable amp, but then, you'll appreciate a more powerful amp even though it's only PFE022.
*
If you need more power and energetic, go for Martini+,
MBA MK2 is a clear, detailed amp

Hey guys, how does the sound quality of the beyerdynamic xp3 compare with the klipsch s3 or s4?
*
Erm, comparable I guess? The price tag is so much difference btw.

QUOTE(wildwestgoh @ Oct 14 2012, 03:15 PM)
Yeah, somehow after I auditioned the burn-in XP2, I was slightly regret that I bought XP3... *sigh* oh well~
At least XP3 has good presentation on the instruments sounds stage.
Going to burn-in more to see what will it become. wink.gif

Add: Found another way to wear comfortably for long hours for this huge housing.
Solution is wear it over-ear, yes there's no mistake here, over-ear, it's even easier to wear over those normal over-ear type.
How? While normally the wire is straight down, now you turn it ~120 degree to the front, then put the wire over-ear, that's it.
The huge housing will face down instead of up, better insertion for those with small ear (like me blush.gif ) especially wearing the double-flange.
Now, it's even better at handling the annoying microphonics problem, minimize it even further, now I can wear it up to 3 hours and still no pain around the ears.

p/s: Do I need to post a picture of how it looks like over-ear?
*
I think u can post it as a educational reference.

It's alright, currently I'm not sure if there's really an imbalance  doh.gif , the difference wasn't that significant now. Will listen it throughout. Warranty still got 11 months  thumbup.gif

Hmmm, maybe the driver is stiff at the beginning. How it has lossen a bit after burn in.

1 month after using XP3... I can say... worth every single cents that I've paid.
1st 10 hours is so so... Then burn for around 50hrs. Now, I can hear sounds that i missed before. Even 10 years old 128bit mp3 feel different.
If you're on a budget. go for it. if still not enough, save a bit, then buy this one. No need to puasa 2-3 months for student. cheers...

Yup, glad that you like them. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(ego draconis @ Oct 30 2012, 09:42 PM)
Hi, Im currently using a cheap rm1++ dac ,i usually tune 75% of max volume for my hd668B, but for my xp3, the max volume still small , isit due to 98db low sensitivity? This issue even worst when put on Hippo foam which has longer "foam canal"...But hippo biscuit can give me sufficient volume when plug in xp3.

anybody can help solve this issue?..im newbie..thx

Added on October 30, 2012, 9:54 pm1)Im notice the sound is better when in low volume in Hippo biscuit compare to high volume. is this due to xp3 or biscuit factor?

2) for burn in, must use good dac? can use handphone? small kbps song can do?(no time download higher definition in short term)

hopefully audiophiles here can teach me...thx alot
*
For the first question. The problem lies in your music file that you use. As good IEM is able to pick up details, the bad recordings with cracks and shrieks are picked up.
It is not necessary to use good DAC or songs to burn in. But no cracking is preferable.
