Nice job by heidfeld, alonso must be cursing him and extremely frustrated after blocking Alonso for laps after laps

Yeah. Furthermore, Heidfeld is using hard compound tires compare to Alonso's soft compound tires laugh.gif

if heiki kovailanen is not disrupted in the first lap, i think he and fisi can be a threat to the saubers, anyways, still a good job done by kubica and heidfeld. gotta agree with robbie kerr, kubica had a boring race today, being left 10+ seconds in front by hamilton and leaving 10+ secs away his team mate.

Robert Kubica, BMW Sauber (4th):
"This was a good race for the team with us finishing fourth and fifth, and it has been a very good weekend for me. It was a very quiet race. I made quite a good start but we were on the dirty side with Lewis Hamilton, so had no chance to overtake. After that I was close to him just once when he was coming out of the pits and we had a short fight, but he had new tyres, braked later into the hairpin and overtook me again. The last 20 laps were about bringing the car home for a good result for the team, as Lewis was a long way in front and Nick (Heidfeld) behind. The car was very good, physically I am a hundred per cent and mentally too, and I could do another race now."

Nick Heidfeld, BMW Sauber (5th):
"I am very happy with the result. It was a great race for us, and we scored valuable points. At the start both Renaults went to the middle of the track, I tried to overtake Giancarlo Fisichella on the right hand side, but he moved over, which was not correct. The fights with Fernando Alonso were a lot of fun and also useful for my result. At times I had to defend hard, but I think from both sides it was fair play. It was not easy to keep him behind me, especially as in the middle stint he was very fast with obviously a low fuel load. Ferrari was very strong here as we already saw at the last test. You should never discount Renault as they are the reigning champions."

keep the man at bmw, he is yet to show his fullest capabilities of challenging the top guns for the WCC i presume. i believe this season is his strongest at bmw and the team can go further ahead in this coming years.

IMO, he is doing quite well in bmw right now, if he jump to let say ferrari or mclaren chances are of him becoming like kimi or alonso is quite high. so y not stay in bmw for the moment and use it like a leaping stone for him. or in future he might become like MS.

well, kubica need the points too rite. anyways, if compared to massa, massa did a job coming from the back to stand at 5th place. another great week for the BMWs, staying on the 3rd place.

Massa's fault not being able to overtook Kubica.
Massa just not a racer IMHO.
If he is, he should take a different line each time to closen gap with Kubica.

For the record, Kubica is fast nod.gif

kubica is 22~23 i think. anyways, massa tried hard to overtake kubica, but kubica obviously did some defending as well.
