The forest facing units, there might be a mini-city coming up in the form of IOI Vivocity. From the masterplan the buildings look impressive, if they materialize at all. I won't say it will be blocking the forest view, neither will it be an expansive city view like what you get facing the lake/ Sunway/ USJ.
Added on December 19, 2012, 3:37 am QUOTE(bigshark @ Dec 18 2012, 05:25 PM) Wow..looks like Mr.aquest know a lot about sw U will be surprised how much more aquest knows about SW, hehe. Anyway, what he mentioned is totally true, for Solace, type B (1093sf) all facing forests only, type C (1007sf) all facing lake. For Brio and Vio, type B all facing forest, type D all facing lake. So, all in all, only type B exclusively with forest facing only. Forest and morning sun seems like a good combination to me, which is the case here. However, the sunset view over the lakes are breathtaking too!say early la...then no need waste my finger energy texting my sharing... so how much exactly the rental there for each type Mr. aQuest -the one and the only SW genius..? how much 1096 and 1007 sft can sell next year before election??? the one that facing The mount kinabalu & the one facing the lake kenyir...quick quick share... Added on December 19, 2012, 3:38 am QUOTE(AMINT @ Dec 18 2012, 11:50 PM) I dont undertand, UFO-ET. not "original" means secondary forest or kata melayu," hutan sekunder"? eh one more thing. i dont know i was having problems with my eyes or what but the other that during raining, i could see waterfall near the forest from LDP. i couldnt keep staring while driving. (i know ayer hitam forest got 3 waterfalls but none could be seen from LDP). Damn UPM for restricting. Better hope it's not surface runoff, otherwise those staying at the walk up apartments will be scared out of their lives. This post has been edited by davkong: Dec 19 2012, 03:48 AM |

The Korean restaurant San Nae Duel opened already, took up two floors of corner lot in front of Solace. Vietnamese restaurant announced, Absolute Viet. A local cuisine restaurant too, from the name, Cafe Kaseh. At least more variety now compared to before. Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Western, Korean, local, coffee house, tea house, beer joint!

QUOTE(SolWalker @ Dec 24 2012, 10:52 PM) Hope to have a Pasta Zanmai here. Paradigm in fact done a good marketing, most of the new F&B anchor there and grabbing good crowd. Disappointed with SW, really Tidak Apa, I think most of people hopped in tonight will get disappointed of the Christmas eve decoration. I think the individual outlets have their own Christmas events. I read from Twitter PBP jammed up coz too many cars going to SW!Added on December 24, 2012, 11:42 pm QUOTE(a123 @ Dec 24 2012, 10:49 PM) I was at SW last saturtday. It was crowded. One cannot even find a good seat at Wong Kok, Muzuem or Sushi Tei. Overseas Cafe was even worse. See for yourself. QUOTE(bizklguy @ Dec 31 2012, 10:54 PM) Hv you collected 2013 calendar from them? Btw Happy New Year to all. HAPPY 2013!!! Added on December 31, 2012, 11:30 pmTonight SW shows us that it has the potential to be THE Social Centre for Puchong: people are pouring into SW on the eve of 2013 in a scale that I believe is unprecedented. Traffic is heavy around SW and long queue is already piling up even as early as 10pm to enter SW.. I guess car park (both B1 & B2) must be already full as cars are parked along Persiaran Wawasan stretching at least over 200m. Inside SW, shops on the Ground floor are generally occupied/busy. Notably, sizeable queue are sighted in front of San Nae Deul and Sushi-Teh. ![]() online photo storage Abuzz on social network! https://twitter.com/search/realtime?q=setia+walk&src=typd |

QUOTE(nevergonewrong @ Jan 1 2013, 09:22 AM) does anyone know where I could find the housing development act that states service apartment/soho is now under the purview of it? This? http://hba.org.my/laws/hda/2007/A1289-2007.pdfAmendment of section 3 4. Section 3 of the principal Act is amended— . . . (b) by substituting for the definition of “housing accommodation” the following definition: ‘ “housing accommodation” includes any building, tenement or messuage which is wholly or principally constructed, adapted or intended for human habitation or partly for human habitation and partly for business premises and such other type of accommodation as may be prescribed by the Minister from time to time to be a housing accommodation pursuant to section 3A;’; |

QUOTE(twincharger07 @ Jan 1 2013, 04:02 PM) having the act governing service apartment and soho is one thing, but complying to the act is another issue... some of the soho sofo etc where developer do not use the standard HDA SNP... if the prop that bought with SNP that complies to HDA should be ok.. Of course the onus is on the buyer to read and understand what they are buying into... |

QUOTE(a123 @ Jan 2 2013, 07:13 AM) [attachmentid=3238134]The area immediately in front of Brio' main entrance is beginning to look like a back alley way. Sector 7 is placing its rubbish bins and unused tables there. The unplastered walls built by it to close up its original door facing Brio main entrance looks horrible. Four terrible looking portable toilets(?) placed right at Brio front entrance is quite unbelievable. How can SW management allow all these to happen right at Brio's main entrance. Are they blind and all having blocked nose? It would be a big negative point to Brio. Hope Brio owners would lodge a strong complaint to SW Management before Brio prices start to tumble versus Solace and Vio. These four portable toilets are permanent or just temporary? I remembered someone said last time they will build public toilet somewhere in the basement? Brio don't have water feature at the entrance facing the shops side but will have one (I hope they are no changes, from the scale model) on the other entrance facing wawasan side. But the condition in this photo is not acceptable lar once VPed, I hope they will do something to make it look better. |

QUOTE(ace77 @ Jan 2 2013, 04:25 PM) ha..ha, it is actually portable changing cloth set. Awave is at Vio entrance, haha. Each block has their "deity".True, the Brio lobby will not be as grand as Solace with Beer Factory back facing and the noise level, OMG, it is much nearer to those pubs. Awave and B Factory will knock down those weak hearts in Brio |
