QUOTE(barbar554 @ Nov 5 2012, 09:04 PM) Another poor direct console port I guess. It happened to Sleeping Dogs too. Sleeping dogs ran fine on my Pc unless you turn the AA to max...plays like about 40fps on max Added on November 6, 2012, 1:25 amQUOTE(piskin @ Nov 5 2012, 09:34 PM) I can Get 60 FPS in Highest setting on 1920x1080 with my GTX 670 U mean u can reach 60 fps or constant fps? I cant even do constant 60 fps thx to the lousy optimization (only 60% gpu usage wtf???!!!) Most Wanted plays fine, but the FPS drop is distracting and makes the control feels sluggish Added on November 6, 2012, 1:00 pmQUOTE(defaultname365 @ Nov 6 2012, 10:38 AM) "NFS: Most Wanted" plays great on my 680... 1920x1080 max settings. How many fps, doesn't matter, it is smooth as butter. I noticed AA was lacking (just like Hot Pursuit). I just went to NVCPL, turned on FXAA and voila, much better. Can't wait for the PC version of AC3 (didn't get the 360 version) = Nvidia TXAA + DX11 in da house! Right now can't stop playing "Deadlight" = love the visual style, love the gameplay, and best of all.. zombies. Im waiting for AC3 available for steam... QUOTE(barbar554 @ Nov 6 2012, 10:10 PM) And that's where NVIDIA's TXAA come in, giving movie-like image quality without compromising frame rates. NVIDIA's TXAA not really, just reducing the FPS hit

QUOTE(sw1314 @ Nov 26 2012, 08:39 PM) any1 can tell me the different of gk104 and gk106? Different graphic cores based on the Kepler? GK104 is the HIGH END graphic core (GTX 680-GTX660Ti)while GK106 is the sort of MID RANGE (GTX660), GK107 is the LOW END (GTX650 and below). Correct me if I am wrong

QUOTE(Mr.CoMoT @ Dec 16 2012, 10:51 PM) hey guys.. 570 to 660.. ok or not? NOT AT ALL...improvement max maybe 5-6 FPS, not worth it at all. You can also OC a GTX 570 to near or equal performance of the GTX 580. I OC my old 570 to about 950 core (DCII Version), already equal or faster than a stock 580

Im thinking of purchasing a GTX 670 PE later from lowyat plaza (if I have time), but im afraid it wont fit into the PC im replacing. Its currently using a GTX 260 SOC (looks like a reference cooler to me). Will I be able to fit it?

QUOTE(rav3n82 @ Dec 27 2012, 04:11 PM) Shouldn't be any issue to support the 670 PE. From the specs, it should be able to support up till 270mm length graphic card. So a 500W Silverstone PSU http://www.silverstonetek.com/product_lega...=en&model=st50f can power this beast right? Currently it is using a i5-750 (no OC)

Im quite jealous of my brother's 670 PE, memory OC higher than my GTX 680 Lightning. My maximum memory OC is +410, the 670 PE is now at +470, and I still haven't even find out the maximum OC yet zzz

QUOTE(shirley_andy @ Jan 12 2013, 01:36 AM) Overclocking my nvidia card, what's the max temperature I should allow for stress testing before I stop optimising? i wouldnt go above 90c if once in a while, but if you are planning for long term oc, I would stay below 80c all the time...(P.S. its OCing, not Optimizing, its not our job to optimize our GPU that belongs to Nvidia or the game developer )

I wouldn't use Furmark for Stability and Benchmarking cause Furmark causes OMGWTF high temperatures that you won't reach 99% of the time, and also I think Nvidia placed something on the GPU that would clock down when it detected Furmark...use something such as Heaven Benchmark to test. Like primaroti said, only use the core voltage IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. If you are tweaking the voltage, please make sure your temperature aren't going too high. Use something like MSI Afterburner to check your voltage

QUOTE(hellkvr @ Jan 19 2013, 12:44 AM) yes u can. some crazy russian moded the nivida driver a year ago. now is version 9.6 but the limitation is the gpu must be within same family. means fermi must be sli with fermi. thats y i came here to ask bout the performance . i bet some people here do that The chipset with both of these cards are different...Im sure Nvidia laser cut the core to avoid another 6950 flashed to 6970 problem...flashing the bios would only unlock it if Nvidia locked it down via software. If you can really SLI different cards then I would SLI my 680 Lightning with my 670 Power Edition (uber performance FTW ) This post has been edited by devillightning1: Jan 19 2013, 05:10 PM
