According his ZTH explanation, it amplifies voltage by way of resonance, similiar to pulse-width modulation.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around it, maybe EE ppl can explain, such as coolkwc.

Honest review for Firestorm, there is an increased idle jerk when A/C kicks in. Reduced rich mix jerk at high speed.

The power when accelerating is really good. I will go to my tuner to tune for leaner mix to reduce jerk, hopefully with Firestorm, the engine doesn't stall.

Noticeable in petrol too but much less significant because of different fuel mapping. Doesn't occur all the time either, there could be some other parameter that causes A/C compressor jerk which I still have not found.

Maybe it's a bug in Persona ECU, when A/C kicks in, the ignition timing is reported to be -64 degrees, and that's when it jerks.

Nothing too severe actually, considering the massive power gain.
