chews voltage? It is part of the wiring itself. In fact when current pass through, the voltage gets amplified. I didn't study the content of the firestorm, but my guess is, inside there is/are capacitor(s) that will contain charges to counter this "voltage chewing". Thats why during initial installation, most of the engine start up takes a bit longer than usual. Perhaps the capacitor is charging. for sharing

if the coils doesnt get sufficient time to 'recharge', then the car should be jerking like mad already due to inconsistent power output.
