Hey guys, I just realized that our K5 door panel has a red color light which is just under the speaker ( the lights above the map/bottle holders ) BUT it doesn't light up each time when I open the door or close it, anyone know is the light supposed to light up or not supposed to ? hmm.gif

Oops! Just check again closely, I found the light is on BUT the brightness level is very low, when I move my hand under the speaker I can see my hand turn red ( as the red light on it ) but really hardly see it if not placed my hand under it. Is this normal that the brightness level that low ? hmm.gif

I don't think so. I think I always kill the engine first, before I press that fuel access button on the door.
*
Yes, correct! It function even when the engine is off. tongue.gif

Bros...what is the opinion on having  touch screen module for K5...plsys DVD, GPS etc.?
Can Kia provide this service so that warranty not void?

Heard that someone tried to do on their own (outside/non KIA) and end up paying RM20k
to repair electronic items

Pls advice.
*
Bros, as far as I know they ( naza ) has not concluded with any dealer or factory who manufacture the right hand drive module for our K5 touch screen, so end up even if you buy the one from China now cost you ±USD600~1000/set can not match or fix to our K5. tongue.gif

I did check with one factory there but minimum order would be 500 sets and to my capacity is just too many units to sell unless we have 500 owners here willing to buy or we can approach naza to purchase where it is quite a lengthen process which I do not want to proceed it further. biggrin.gif

All of us have the same tank. Its just that none of you have filled to the absolute maximum.
*
Bros, I think you are the one who is filled "to the absolute maximum" here, but as I mentioned earlier in the post, you might end up paying more for nothing at which I don't have any concrete evidence to proof to you but to the many articles out there you may search yourself. biggrin.gif

But, ultimately this is all individual! You may have your own pumping style but I still prefer mine which is stop at the first click.[COLOR=blue] tongue.gif

Bro, my SA did offer a touch screen GPS/DVD for only RM1.8k. Assembled by KIA, as what he mention. Not sure whether it's under KIA or that branch only.
*
Thanks for your information, can you PM me the branch as I'm interested to installed it ? biggrin.gif

Question to all..when I press the button to unfold my side mirror, sometimes it doesn't work..need to press 2@3 times before it's open...does anyone of u encounter the same problem?
Also, how to make the side mirror auto folded when we lock the car and unfold when we start the engine? as I saw it somewhere in youtube..
*
Yes, I have this problem once sometimes last month. But, after that everytime it is work, I think I will ask SC to check during my next service. tongue.gif

I dont have this problem, but i do have hgh consumption prolem, my average is 10L /100KM normal driving. Feel Cheated by SA who claimed 8 L/100KM.
*
If you are 95% ~ 100% on 110km/h ( highway speed ) and your AVG shown 10L/100KM then you may said it is high fuel consumption. tongue.gif

*
You may try EZY Touch Up where you can buy it from Jusco ( I remembered I saw once ) or just google the info. But remembered to do it very nicely or else you may getting it worse. smile.gif

Yes, only a year RM30k discount which sounds too good. Well, any ideas what to check when viewing the car. It's quite tempting.
*
Ya, to prepare RM30K depreciation for the first year is also quite tempting ! cry.gif

And another thing bro, hope you can help me spreads the news. My K5 is still in Tip Top condition (Like a brand new) Thank You Bro Jootat...
*
Shah, you may prepared to lower again the price quite substantially as the current market value is only at approx 120K (for year 2012) and you may check at Mxdah site that are priced at sub 120K level. And, if after raya which is between Aug~Sept people will start to look for year 2013 car instead and the year 2012 car valued will lower down again accordingly.

I would advise you to publish the sale information at various automotive/car site and sell it at sub 120K level then you may get it to be sold more faster rather than wait until approaching year 2014 then the car price will down some more perhaps to sub 110K level.

Bro, i didn't install any after market mod stuff, everything is original. I believe i m not the only one, there are others out there having the same problem
*
Thanks Bro for your given information, I am still curious that warranty would still valid should we installed any after market mod and I guessed I still need someone here to let us know who has installed it and have no problem on the warranty claims. biggrin.gif
