Hey guys ... getting the new 2012/3 Swift as a 2nd car    .. placed booking awaiting loan approval ..

Love the new design and went ahead as it is now CBU but CKD later .. Hopefully a good choice .. Getting it from Aiman Motors at Jalan 223 ...
Anyhow, some questions after reading some of the posts:
- SC service is expensive and poor?
- Does the parts they use common parts or Suzuki parts? (Currently drive a Honda so I can easily get ORI Honda spare parts from Stockist in Seapark)
- Any particular compliments/complaints on a particular SC around PJ area?
- Will servicing outside void the warranty? Any loopholes? 
- Anyone installed any the Locktech lock? Good? Does it block the leg?
- Whats this about stolen nut and steal another Swift's nut ... 
- What is the brand of lub commonly used?
- Anyone did any paint coating such as Sierraglow/Gzox etc? So far ok? ...
- Where do you normally hunt for your Swift accessories and bodykit?

Yes, I'm on 195/55/15 Michelin PS3. The feeling is muchhhhhh better than stock. Can tackle deeper corner compared to stock.

Tyre noise because of swift stock tyre(Bridgestone Potenza) will have this issue after the thread is less than 70%. Michelin PS3 so far okay for me.

Where you buy the penis cap? Last time I bought from johor service centre, rm20 per piece, but now hilang again. I would like to buy again leh... can buy for me or not?

Just got my swift LE ystd. Just wanna know, the player can't play video at all? I tried with usb as well as a dvd but can't play oso. Anything I need to do or install ah? If need, any intro?

yar. the NY800 unit. when i placed dvd d. got sound, but no image. some brake error thingie. erm... the unit doesnt comes with video function?

When Suzuki Malaysia want to clear stock for Swift GX so that can make way for new swift, they come out Swift LE edition, is a normal swift GX with new bodykit + different colour alloy wheel + 2 DIN DVD player.

not going to mod the car and will be 100% service at SC only...

reason for changing the myvi is getting old almost 5 years...

owh...how about the warranty n service centre...cos with P2 SC i got everything in order n never had a nitemare to claim a warranty or other stuff which is FOC

Agree, Swift is really good handling, just need to enhance little bit if like to play with corner, like anti-roll and strut bar. For the pick-up, need more enhancement.

I do not care to waste little bit more on petrol(but dun too much), and decide to use k&n open pot air filter to enhance the performance, further more maybe 4-2-1 extrator (but not muffle). Any command on this kind of modification? Lcy, Seng, wts, three of you got experience on modify car right? give some suggestion leh...

Sengsdf & batusaix mod their car quite good but not me. Mine is stock only 

I no experience in modding car, my car still in stock form only. 

After driving my swift for 8 months, the only thing i don't like is their lazy gearbox and the poor low end torque of the M15A engine, driving in city don't dare to press the pedal so hard to conserve the petrol. Had the tempting feeling to modify the intake of the engine, as Sengasdf say the engine's poor low end torque is due to the intake system not efficient.

Sengasdf and batusaix is the sifu here if talk about modding.

After reading most of the comments, I believe it is acceptable for the SC to accept 3rd party parts instead of using Suzuki's? ... How about some comments and suggestions?

Is the car stable at high speed e.g 120kmh? How about windy road? Anyone has got any issues?

guys, interested to get a swift for my bro, saw a 08 unit asking for 49500 all in. this car got leather seat, is that swift got leather seat??? i cant recall
