If you compare the $18 price tag at SP with this guy's price http://goo.gl/clm56, you got yourself a great deal (exactly 40% discount). The guy's mark-up, however, is a crazy 66.67%! (profit of $12 off a $18 cost) IF I was into Cherry MX keycap swapping and collecting, I think it would be good to know the true value of the keycaps and how much is kept by the group buy organizer. A small compensation for time and trouble is OK, in my opinion - like a service charge. But at 2/3 the cost price of the item ?!?

Crap, the 199$ Topre Realforce 104U was sold out and they will no longer bring them in anymore. I guess I'm not going for Topre anymore since I liked it because it was white.

but i really despise the ducky extra 4 keys on the top right, can anyone tell me how to stop them from working? i always accidently press "browser" and then mozilla pop out, it's more annoying than the windows button.

I'm thinking of getting an ultra compact ones like the Poker. Who has experience using it and some feedbacks?
Googled the reviews some say the PCB rattling.

How does the fn works for those have experienced? Easy to get used to?

Nope, the Filco Blue is much more solid than the Poker, because it has a metal plate inside, and the quality of the plastics used to make it is much better. Overall its a better product.

But as a portable keyboard, the Poker is good because of its lightness. Sure there are some rattles here and there due to the so so build quality, but i like that i can bring it around .

Sadly from what kaiserreich told me that we cant grabs any of these kb anywhere at south korean local computer shop coz its need to custom order first  If not my friend probably can grabs one

Is Topre really that comparable to MX Switches? Some devil has been whispering in my ear asking me to get one

EDIT: Not trolling, if I see review saying the difference is big, I'll surely get one.

As Kai said, the different are not as obvious as you switch from membrane to Cherry Mx,
but as time goes by, the Topre switch will grow in to you slowly,
until you one day when you try Cherry again, you will feel that the Cherry are not so good.

When I use Cherry Mx switches, I feel that they are content and good,
but when I change to Topres, I feel that there are some different that are difficult to describe,
after using it for a few months, I pull out my Cherry Mx red again to type on,
I feel that the Cherry are not so comfortable to type on compare to Topre.

The Topre switches is very unique, even if you tried it, you might not get a hold of how it feel,
people need time to get used to it, and once you are used to it, you will never want to use any other switches.

I'm beginning to think that it is more to an intrinsic value type item. I have the MX Blue, have to say it is sufficient for now, but after awhile I'm beginning to think that something felt wrong when typing with the switches.

Clearly, the design of Topre, which I see apply a quite uniform pressure to each keypress, making the tactile feeling of typing quite noticeable. This is why I asked need the review of all sifus around here, so see either it is reasonable for me to make the switch to Topre.

I don't think I can do anything with a custom MKC case alone,
without the PCB with switches on board......

I do not know where to shop for a good quality PCB board,
I do not know where to get the switches and how to solder the switches......

Or is it possible to make a custom MKC case for a Realforce?

It don't feel right. 

I've tested my friend's CM QFR(for about 1 week, we swapped) it feels more solid. the space bar/shift is not so shaky compared to KC. I never tried a Filco before. Maybe its just me feeling things or thinking too much.

BTW it cost around RM230 plus shipping.

I some how feel that stablizers on realforce is totally awesome to press on! does it also using costar stabilizers? totally outperformed my duckys one
