That is an on-going BUT slowww process...many channels not accessible yet!!

Guys, I just got my Astro yesterday. Paid RM100 but no receipt. Is that normal? The dish is also placed a bit farther since I live in apartment. If anything happens (stolen, vandalisme), will it be covered under warranty?

And how do I subscribe for PVR and do I need to pay more?

Is Astro coming up with another Korean channel (tvN HD) ? I think I saw its advertisement just now on StarWorld HD but I am not completely sure.

How come Assteruk can get TvN HD? I thought that channel belongs to TM?

Unless it means that the stupid monopoly rules are being relaxed oredi, which I hope is the case.

tvN HD Southeast Asia is a JV between Fox and CJ Entertainment registered in Hong Kong.

Anyway, i guess it is either that the exclusive airing rights for TM IPTV has ended or will soon come to an end or TM never had the exclusive airing rights for tvN HD in Malaysia.

So eventually there will be 3 Korean channels carried by Astro. OneHD carries all SBS contents, hopefully there will be one new channel that carries all MBC contents in the future

Speaking of Tvn Hd... I saw a cover photo from their fb page, it will be rebranding to Mnet Hd? Maybe true or not.

tvN is a general ent channel showing drama series, talk shows, entertainment, magazine shows. The rebranding to M Net with the slogan this us Korean pop, seems to suggest it will now be just a 24/7 korean music ch. Which is probably why Astro is now offering since its lesser work to censor.....

So any news/info when it's gonna debut on Astro?

Well, I really hope the channel is three-way shared between TM, Assteruk and ABN. After all, Australia Network is available on both TM and Assteruk, and I think is also going to appear on ABN.

tvN Korea is 100% owned by CJ Entertainment, which they also own MNet Media. Since MNet is a better known brand, I am not surprised at all if they want to rebrand it as MNet TV.

They probably won't be many changes to the programs lineup. Currently, tvN HD is also broadcasting M Countdown from MNet. With this new channel, K-Pop fans can now watch SBS Inkigayo, KBS Music Bank and MNet M Countdown in full HD straight from the TV


I was playing my iPad with the TV on when I accidentally saw the new channel commercial. It was a commercial of a new drama series to be broadcast on tvN HD. I didn't pay attention initially as I thought it is a new OneHD program. Then suddenly I saw the tvN HD logo on the commercial. That is what caught my attention. If I didn't hear wrongly, it is going to be on Ch360, or Ch390 ?? Again, I am not sure. It will probably come online sometime this month because if I am not mistaken, it was mentioned in the drama series commercial that this new drama series is coming this November.

Hope no more Korean channel 2 are enough. Don't understand them and not that keen with K-Pop. Concentrate more on English so the population can learn English better.

Buat saja "Korean" pek, lagi bagus... Saluran2 jepun masuk pakej, tapi 3 (2 dalam HD) saluran Korea haramjadah dalam "basic" pek...

Anyone here watching NBA with astro beyond? I just upgraded to Beyond and heard some of them said they mostly only show football and other sports....seldom got nba matches is that true??
