I guess this is the closest we can get to version 2.0 of the Nu. I have never build an MG ver. Ka kit before. Do you think Bandai will redesign the inner frame? One more thing is the proportions as most people think that the original MG Nu had a head which is quite big.
*
They HAVE to redesign the inner frame. Bandai would not re-use a 12-year old inner frame for a model kit that's supposed to be their year-end headliner.

So is the 3d render Nu gundam ver. Ka that someone posted legit?
*
I also have the lineart:

Either they're real or somebody is REALLY good at making fake images in a short amount of time. As far as I can find out, they're both legit.

y like cant c the eyepatch?  hmm.gif
The eyepatch is there. The clear piece is dark green so it's now showing up well.

An enjoyable build so far. It's cheering me up after that tragedy with my MG Wing Gundam.

I'm not big into the Age line either. I'll buy Dark Hound and Double Bullet, and would love a MG G-Bouncer, but that's about it. I have no real desire for the Age-1 or 3.

looking good.. i haven't actually studied the kit properly yet, but what is it that made it's price quite high? (at least for an AGE kit)
any interesting transformation mechanisms? hmm.gif
*
I wouldn't know. I never transformed him and I never will.

Someone on ebay has already thrown up a pre-order for the MG Nu Gundam ver ka, and for a damn good price too. I'm only paying about 20 dollars more than the retail price and that's just for the shipping. 120 dollars well spent. smile.gif

unless u're living outside of asia, $120(rm300+) is quite expensive for a 7000+ yen kit. sweat.gif
better wait for local shops
*
I live in Canada, so that's probably the cheapest I could get the model anyways.

how much would.. say.. a 7000yen kit cost there? and what's the conversion rate?
*
7000 yen = 88.40 CAD. The conversion rate is basically $1 CAD = 79 JPY.

is it available locally though? how much are they in stores? approximately the same as the above example?
*
I don't anywhere even remotely close to a store that sells Gundam model kits(Newfoundland is my province). I don't have the luxury of being able to bypass shipping fees.

at least it gave you plenty of time to do a great looking model laugh.gif but i don't really see Freedom in there.. is it just the inner frame used?
*
It's just the inner frame and MAYBE a few armor pieces from the Freedom.

GFF has the luxury of not being a model kit tongue.gif so of course it can afford better designing/proportions.. are GFFs transformable? if they aren't then that would further explain why it's better looking laugh.gif
*
Pretty sure GFF can't transfrom.

Yes, all in one go. I'm currently working on Sandrock first. I'll post some pics once I have some significant work done.
