i thought PDA phone price not dropping that's fast but... juz half year drop RM800

Yeap, that's why it was rather unexpected from Dopod

actually now im juz realize any phone will dropping very fast... either PDA phone, Symbian, 3G or other phones

to all the sifus out there, i just got my dopod and im very noob bout it(1st time using it)

i have some questions to ask:

1. can u use ur song as a ringtone/message alert tone?
2. how long u should at least do the backup?

1. of course u can.. but sms tone must be in .wav format
2. if u're a heavy user.. i suggest once a week.. if not once a month is good.. well, that's for me.. xD

Im not sure tat anyone else facing this prob b4.. after I installed the CE Star, I keyed in the reg code and press ok but the windows kept poping out telling me tat after 15 days trial it cant be used.. After many OK pressed I fed up & press 'no' to continue. However I cant read my inbox message anymore. I can still able to read the limited contents in the inbox list, but when I clicked to open a particular message, nothing shown..just all-blank-page.

After uninstall CE Star, I can view the full message again....

My friend, u hv register with the wrong registration key.
This happen to me as well.
resolved after key in the right key.

i dunoo why but the dopod website didnt send the registration key to my email after i had key in my details

is ur device ID same with the one u key-in during the mobem registration? it must be identical.. so, if ce-star is so important to u that u can't uninstall it, be sure that u're not changing ur device ID anymore.. because once u changed it to the one differ from that during the registration, ur CE-STAR is deemed to be unregistered..

told u 1 thing i use for 6months ady but nvr only do a backup that's while i format my dopod and upgrade my rom to make it more stable and run faster

but i face a problem i dunno y i cant syncronize my Dopod wif my outlook after i reformat my pc who can help me

i have another question... can we take picture without the loud snapping sound?

Yes, you can.

Go to camera mode, then click on the 'Settings' button.

In there, at the bottom of the screen, click on 'Tools', then 'Options'.

After that, you will see 3 tabs at the bottom of the screen, which are "General", "Image, "Video". Go to the "General" tab. Tick the first checkbox on the page which says 'Disable shutter sound'

Done, no more snapping sounds Hope that helps.

just got my dopod from thundermatch at the curve for 1688 with 1gb..
next door pda expert offer me 1888 with 1 gb also..
