need careful lor for pencil... suggest you little challenge...

use pencil lightly sketch outline then use ballpen/gel-pen inking and use pencil/pen shade

see will get nicer result or not

Smudged it. Try to make smoke effects but meh. It kinda works, I guess

Maybe I'll try to use pens with another drawing

suggestion la,

1) add highlight for the gun fire, means you had to darken down overall thing to show the highlight lol.
2) auto white balance your sketch work hehe.
3) smoke need more work harder. that one i thought was a bad accident smudge. usually smoke area is blured line one haha ><

And I probably should add in some light to the mutant's face when he's firing his shotgun. I wasn't really picturing that he's firing it, rather about to take a potshot at his face, so I kinda just left the muzzle flash out.

I think you solved the smoke problem that I wasn't quite sure how it should look. Thanks for the tips!

Oh, VERY nice. Love the watercolour + airbrush effect, makes it very stand-out Especially the lined-paper texture, makes it look "authentic"

Her face, though, a bit too round, I think? Not much definition to her jawline/chin, looks a bit too egg-shaped in my eyes... although I personally have a preference for chiselled faces, so this might just be my prejudice speaking
