Hi,

Try install this
32bit - http://swupdate.openvpn.org/community/rele...2-I003-i686.exe
64 bit - http://swupdate.openvpn.org/community/rele...I003-x86_64.exe

If you don't know your computer is 32bit or 64bit, try use 32bit. If you still have any issue/question, feel free to ask us.

Hi,

I tried the free server with OpenVPN. Downloaded the Config zip file last night, only 3 servers available. 2 servers failed to get connected, another one server prompt for user id and password even my config file already inclusive the API key.

Any solution on this?

I just realized that the TAP Adapter not installed properly. I reinstalled everything now and tried on 3 servers. No more id & password prompt, but 2 server connection failed, only [US_Illinois] server managed to get connected. Screen capture on the failed connection as below:

It's possible on IP based but not application based.
For that you would have to use socks proxy. We currently not offering any socks proxy servers yet but we planned to offer this service in the future.

Hi i went to the website, and I noticed your SG servers have the word (gaming) in it.
Im using maxis fibre, and the blardy thing reroutes connections to HK then back to SG then back to HK then to me. WHich is quite annoying when my game starts spiking. Want to try out your VPN to see whether there can be any improvements for me to connect to SG. I can see that registering is free, but the free servers are only in USA?

Any way I can test the connection without actually paying first?
If it can give me a ping lower than 80ms, like say 30ms..I would gladly subscribe for it as its quite affordable.. Get back to me via PM if its possible to test first bro smile.gif

Hi, i doubt that could be any where near 30ms with VPN.
For your information a direct connection from KL <-> SG would be atleast around 30ms to 50ms not to mention a VPN that reroute it.
But you could try who know in your case it will be suitable since every servers are different, maybe your game server that you trying to connect are peer-ed nicely with our SG servers. And please note that our SG servers are using different provider so if SG01 is slow for your game, you can try other SG02/03/04 which may act different due to different peering status.
I will forward this to another staff to see if this trial on premium SG is allowed, if it's allowed he will be making further contact with you.

We're happy to announce that we will be pushing our new website into production soon!

In order to ensure a smooth transition, we'll be have our website and the API server into maintenance mode starting at 20:30 GMT +8 on Saturday (November 30th, 2013).

During this time, registration and billing access will be disabled. However, you will be able to contact us at support@finchvpn.com
Time required for the maintenance is expected to be less than 1 hour, but to ensure everything goes well we're allocating roughly 2 hours for the mentioned process.

In case you haven't been following the updates, our new website will be bringing a handful of new features along with the improved interface. A few notable changes are:
- Support ticket system
- Reseller system
- Multiple currency system
- Coupon system
- Premium servers quota reset system
- Blog/News system
- "What is my IP" system
and much more!

If you're connected to our VPN while the website being bring into maintenance mode, your VPN connection will not be affected. But if you're trying to connect while we are doing maintenance, your login request will be denied as our API/login server is being brought down for the update.

Please note that, in order to reduce users that're planning to abuse our servers, account that registered with fake/temporary or disposable email will be given 3 days to change your email and after that on December 1st, 2013 those accounts will be removed from our system.

As always, it's a pleasure to have such awesome clients, and we're look forward to hearing your opinion/feedback on our new website. We'll be more than happy to listen to it, just email us!

Thanks,
FinchVPN Team
