This brand-new remastered bundle includes Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, featuring Nathan Drake as he hunts for Captain Avery’s long-lost treasure, setting off for one final far flung adventure across the jungles of Madagascar to long lost pirate colony of Libertalia. It also includes Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, which chronicles Chloe Frazer’s breakout exploits as she moves from frenemy to hero. Enlisting the assistance of renowned mercenary Nadine Ross, Chloe ventures to India’s Western Ghats to locate the Golden Tusk of Ganesh.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will be available in early 2022 for PS5. The PC version is in development by our partners at Iron Galaxy and will release shortly after the PS5 version. As these dates approach, we’ll discuss more details.

recoil added to gmal..accuracy drop especially long range.

currently trying hard to leveling cloaked..seems it is a pretty useful booster 1

Never really found cloaked useful tho... i basically kill anything that moves without a green color name tied to it thumbup.gif

Hey guys,just got the game,the GOTY ed to be exact. Coming from a long time Uncharted 2 MP player,this MP is da bomb! Seriously,i mean,I feel bad for because it took me so long to get this game. The thing they did right this time was to include the dlc in the disc. That,for me,is a big thumbs up! smile.gif

I used to think like this til i realized how powerful cloaked is. Sometimes it's hard to see a player without an arrow. The booster is especially useful against noobs(me) who used to buy the ping booster. Then I realized the pros have level 3 cloaked so the ping booster is useless. Now with the head items that have the ping booster in them, it is all the more useful. Oh and it is also useful for powerplays. I only have a level 2 cloaked booster though. And next legacy it resets. cry.gif

hmm i've forgotten all about the purchaseable boosters like ping laugh.gif wasted all my money last time. should have at least bought some once-off boosters for the games before reset.

Seems like uc3 has degenerated into the type of game where you you have to pay real money for dlc items to stay ahead. Makes me feel that if i don't pay, and i don't have enough time to farm for head items with extra benefits, i'll actually be disadvantaged. Quite sad.

At least skill still beats money. You can have all the items/treasures but a pro can still beat you with an Ak. If it degenerates to money > skill, I'm off the game.

noticed that we had problems finding games until you became leader the other day... i have a theory... that finding games is easier if the leader is outside of malaysia! nod.gif biggrin.gif

uc3 is still one of the lamest and most sensitive when it comes to multiplayer matchmaking if everyone doesn't have the ideal settings. seems that if just one guy not having the best settings can result in tedious rotation of party leaders until the best one is found. one of my friends recently switched ISP to maxis fibre from unifi, and we couldn't find games anymore if he's in the party. He is able to find games easily on his own though. Whatever multiplayer netcode is employed by ND, it sure is sensitive.

The trophies seem glitched. Yesterday, when I was about to play coop crushing adventure with renzo, and the game was about to start, the host left. I was returned to the lobby and I got the 2 trophies. Omnipotent and Deathless without playing a game.

There are some instances where we did not qualify for trophies but got it anyway.

Hopefully coop arena can exploit this glitch as well.

Sure? Chienong told me (and after that I read the tournament menu in-game) that you get less tournament points if you are in a group, than if you play solo. Better to solo and win than playing in a team and winning.

I got silver last tournament because I kept wagering when I was in a team.

I read on the rules it says u only get 20% points when u are in 5 friends group.

Not sure if the % is the same when play three team deathmatch..mayb 50% points ? need to check this out later tonite.

Playing alone my chance of losing > wining...always suay enough to VS a group of 5 friends whenever i activate the tournament ticket.FFFFFUUUUUU !!! only managed to get bronze tier for the last tournament.

Heres a tip I do to know when to activate the tix. I first switch off the dlc. Then, search for a game. Chances of getting a bunch of ayam in a match is quite high. Once you have found players, between the loading of players and when they say "Voting in 10 secs...", you can still activate the tournament tix. So u assess if you think you can win the match or not. If you dont know, play a match. If those bunch of legacy players are noobs, next game, you activate the tournament tix. Of course, this method doesnt work if they throw you in a game that has already started.

I found out too when I got it last tournament. It may look cool but if you are hiding and, say hanging of a ledge for a pull down or just to hide, those flames can be seen clearly. Not such an incentive anymore to get the djinn skin.

You can use them for the duration of the next tournament. Say, you get silver or bronze this tournament. For the duration of next tournament, u get the golden guns and flame jacket and head. guys,i used to play tis game last time.for some reason i sold my ps3.n now i bought a new one. n i got a 2nd hand uncharted 3(previously i owned a new one and redeemed the code) the 2nd hand doesnt comes with the code as the previous owner redeemed. i m still using my old psn account and i downloaded the online pass in my psn download list(it stated activating and installing).but whenever i wanted to play online it asked me to redeem code...does tat mean i need to buy a new online pass?thanks!

go a question to ask here.. i currently left only the crushing trophy to plat this game..

can any sifus tell me, to beat the crushing mode, can we select the chapters (eventually finish all of cos) or we must play in the story order (chap1-22) toget this trophy?

What the hell guys,been playing the multiplayer extensively for 3 months,and I still haven't unlocked any of the treasure waepon. Is it really that hard to get them? Any otais care to shed some light?

Just buy them from psn store. Less than a dollar each and no level restriction. Most of them are pretty useless anyway. Just buy your favorite weapon. Else equip treasure hunter and pray.

renzo lag so bad lately. ur movement animation jittering like missing a few frames in a sec. paling i cannot brain u can emerge sprinting running like roaches out of the grenade explosion unharmed. i cannot brain this renzo... i cannot brain thissssssss lol

i tihnk some1 having this problem last time...try downloading the latest patch ? or removing the files and reinstall the game ? no guarantees of anything goes wrong.

i have a problem with singleplayer mode. During cutscenes, the voice sync is bad and the character models stuck at certain part, honestly like pirated cd only. So i bought a new disk. A goty version, updated it and still the same thing happened. Delete and reinstall the game data also same. Any of u guys got this problem? Any solution?

I went back for just 1 match a few days ago, it felt good.
There was no lag, matchmaking time was pretty decent (like about 2 minutes wait). The changes they've made to the game... lol I felt so out of place.

If you are lagging, try using a VPN instead. Or alternatively, you can try UnoDNS that does a direct-link to US/Europe connections... definitely reduces latency.

A good observation I got from the web, someone pointed this good point out:

"Every Betrayed us all" is not an incomplete sentence, Every is a name, Henry Every, he was a very famous british pirate in the 17th/18th century. And the guy speaking is probably Robert Drury, his ship wrecked in Madagascar and he was trapped there for 15 years exactly what this teaser shows. These events also happened in the 17th/18th century, so he must be seeking revenge from Every.

Anyone still playing Uncharted 2 multiplayer? I can't afford UC3 so I stick with UC2. I usually play 2-player co-op arena with my American friend, but because of time zones we don't get much action. Would play competitive modes, although I don't play them much (more players, more lag), and I prefer co-op arena/objective.

Wow, the trailer is so beautiful and realistic up to the point that Drake looked a little bit different.

Did Sully's voice actor change? Doesn't sound much like the previous three games.

Well, it is maybe Sully's end. Based on the tone of his voice in the trailer and the location of Drake at the start of the trailer, maybe they've gone through a battle. Sully maybe injured, thus having a darker tone than the previous three games.

Well, Uncharted 2 theme seems a little bit darker than 1 and 3. Focusing on betrayal of Harry towards Drake, and possible betrayal from Chloe.

Maybe this is the last entry for Uncharted series. Naughty Dog is not famous for dragging a franchise too long.

I like the upper photo. The detail and texture is excruciating. But then the night photo is also amazing. The same detail and texture can be seen even in darker light. It's amazing. Isn't they already implemented they dynamic sand in UC3? In the desert sequence?

Indeed. That would give everyone an idea of how the game would look like during daytime sequences.

The sand in UC3 was dynamic, to a certain extent. It doesn't however crumple up and get wet as well as take shape, unlike the UC4 trailer. Next-gen sand biggrin.gif

Majority of the movie will be in CG anyways, so the bulk of production goes to post. Obviously, expecting a delay but mid-2016 is a realistic date.

To be honest, the gameplay trailer is quite... underwhelming. There's nothing new except stealth mechanics has been improved along with traversal getting some tweaks.

Also... the game definitely doesn't look as good as the E3 unveil.

Now I know ND has a history of releasing a pre-rendered, CG trailer and then followed by a subpar looking gameplay trailer. It has always been the case since Jak 2. After that they follow up with a near two fold increase in visual fidelity near the final release. Here's hoping they stick to that trend, because otherwise Uncharted 4 doesn't look much better than TLoU Remastered.

Oh and yes, seems like they dropped the whole 1080p/60fps target after all.

i tot the re,aster edition got mp and co-op. how i miss the time playing co-op and mp in UC2 with geekster,ssjben,nakata,ashren & goonerz. still remeber the time which ND still didnt patch the scoring for Plunder mode where kills will give u $100 per person. after patch it drop to $10. we usually score till 4-0 and play TDM till the last 1 min. and equip the Invalid badge (as I remember) will decrease ur health and give more money for kills.

hahaha~and the funniest things to do in UC2 is doing 'pumping' on opponents dead body while trash talk and doing the BBQ using the gas tank. omg! priceless moments in UC2 laugh.gif

as for chatting, i'm using the cheapest method bcoz that time still can't afford to buy the bluetooth headset.

UC2 MP when initially launched has a better gameplay, after many patches, the hitbox has just gotten worse. Yeah, still remember those glitchers in UC2?

Nevertheless, when you have killed someone, you are rewarded with the satisfying "kaching" sound, and also that awesome moment when you got a shortie which allows one hit kill from the hip?

I never like UC3 MP. Dunno why.

things that I hate in UC3 mp is the kill streak & weapon customization. it was awful and kinda imba too me. UC2 just use basic weapon and u need to looks for more powerful weapons on the field too.

Exactly. UC2 if you are only superior in terms of level but doesn't possess any skills, you're nothing.


UC3 going in with low level means you're going to be slaughtered by higher level players. That's where the micro-transactions come in. Yet another ND scheme of making extra money..... pffftttt

Yup agreed. I didn't heavily invested my time into UC3 simply because it became too much of a pay-to-win mode.
Earning the perks required a crazy amount of hours to get, many of which can be unlocked by just swiping your card.

I did go in to UC3 here and there once in a while, was still happy to kick the shit out of those decked out players though. Ashren was still playing it though. But too stressful to keep up with them longterm.

UC2 was where it's at, skills were needed. Everything else was cosmetic.

But he’s got some explaining to do. What his excuse is, and where things go next is something we’ll have to find out when Uncharted 4 releases in early 2016. We can’t wait.

So the Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection will not just be an "upres, slap a 60fps-tag remaster".

According to Scott Rhode that is:




Primarily will do gameplay balance and tweak the mechanics of Uncharted 1 and 2 to be more in line with Uncharted 3.
I think U2 is okay as it is, but U1 is definitely a little bit long in the tooth so hopefully the tweaks are an improvement and not an annoyance.

As all remasters goes, be wary of what is said. There's been far too many times when it has turned out to be all lies with rainbow sugar, even if this is one of Sony's biggest IP.

Anyways, Uncharted 4 is targeting 30fps for single-player and 60fps for MP.

As much as I want 60fps for SP, that's just not going to happen. But 60fps for MP is a must and I'm glad that's the target.

There are. Most notable during the Hotel basement area. Didn't hinder gameplay much of course, but noticeable none the less.
But for the most part, the game was quite stable at 55-60fps.

I'm impressed. Impressed because how Naughty Dog is pushing the boundaries consistently across all episodes, it feels like a true Playstation game.

Now after watching the commentary, I think I need to properly calibrate my TV to do this game a justice!

Haha I remembered when Lucy from Gamespot interviewed a guy from Naughty Dog during E3, the guy basically just responded to all questions asked in the same manner: "Building the UC4 demo was very hard"

Makes us all really appreciate the efforts of game devs especially Naughty Dog.

Well.. that's something I'm actually slightly worried about. The Uncharted series has never had very good audio possitional mix, it was decent in Uncharted 2 (yeah, ironically) but in U1 and U3, it was barely passable IMO.

TLoU Remastered was great though and I hope ND incorporate what they've learned from there into U4.

$60? Nope.

But as all remasters go, it'll drop to $40 just a month or 2 at most after. At $40, I think that's worth it. Pretty much a given really, considering that the collection will be releasing in October, no doubt to go on sale during Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales and then the holiday season sales.

Once again, it all depends on how well the porting is. Bluepoint has been good so far, so I hope their quality continues.

i didn't play the 1st uc, only played uc2 and uc3. should be a buy from me since it also give us uc4 mp beta.

Yup, Bluepoint so far has one of the best if not the best. I would confidently say that UC Nathan Drake Collection would not dissapoint. Their remastering is not perfect but i have nothing to complain about so far although I only owned the MGS HD Collection from the list posted by Ben.

This is where I liked the way Supermassive games did...that DLC which came with Until Dawn can't be purchased separately but that DLC is neither something really needed in the game...itz like a scene which got edited from final output of a movie...

but Today's DLC theories are totally crap...specially this 24.99$ extra for campaign DLC....

Personally though, I think Nate looks a little older than he should look in Drake's Fortune remastered.

There was a price error on 11street last week I think, LE version was priced at RM235. I don't remember who the seller was, but it was taken down in only a few hours. My friend used his RM30 off voucer and only paid RM205 + free shipping basically. Not too bad, considering how shitty the ringgit is now.

As always, americanos on neogaf will whine about everything.
One that I find very hilarious is that they say the enemies are bullet sponges and it forces people to do headshots. They are actually complaining about their own abilities to perform headshots! Read that again, yes Wtf?????

Headshots in UC1-UC3 were too damn easy. I'm glad enough that the mechanics has been moved to UC2 for all 3 games, but damn that's still a complaint?

Personally though, I do think Bluepoint has done a remarkable job in remastering all the games. But the move to bloom lighting instead of the old HDR method on UC1 did took some getting use to.
Using models ans textures from UC3 does look nice in some places, but it does look weird in others. Nate and Elena especially looks way older than they should, but Sully looks younger than I remember.

There are still quite a few bugs to stamp out. I don't know which build this demo is based on, but I did notice quite a few animations cut out especially during melee combat. There are also a lot of frametime variance in UC2, which is.. annoying actually. Hope all this is fixed by October 7.

Satisfied with the demo mostly.

i love 'em because of the storyline.. action adventure,
ala indiana jones.. the music scores are great, too..

i also like the gaming mechanics, a 3rd person shooter
with some arsenal to toy around with.. not elaborate,
but i think just enough for UC.

multiplayer for UC2 - yep, the best so far i think..
not so much on UC3, but i am still playing it till now..

why don't you try out the demo first to have a feel..
if you don't like it, then you don't like it.

Agreed. I'm kinda bumped out that they use UC3 Chloe. I also like Elena UC1 model most, in UC3 she looks... a little on the chubby side.

I think I might get shot for saying this... lol. But I can't believe that I'm actually wanting a 30fps lock for the collection, and I'm not kidding.

Yes, yes, I harp about higher framerates a lot. But having played so much UC2 in 30fps in the past, the shooting mechanics does feel strange in 60fps to me actually. Obviously it's a matter of getting used to it again, but... heh.

UC4 will adopt TLOU's shooting mechanics though, except it's faster.

I thought that by allowing the FPS setting in TLOU remastered they might have repeated that option here - being similar engine and all...
That said - with my bad aim, I find I am able to handle the 60fps in TLOU slightly better than the 30-ish in PS3..

I am playing the final retail version. The shadow dithering is there, it's a sorethumb when using photo mode because there's no post-process to soften the shadows.
Not much to do with space. All 3 games uses shared assets from UC3, so they only needed 1 version of shadow maps.

It's a rather minor issue, as it is only noticeable when there's no action or when in photo mode. Even latest games like MGSV and Witcher 3 are culprits to using such low quality shadows. We're in 2015 for goodness sake, dithered shadows is a tech from 2002... doh.gif

There's actually a trophy for beating the games via speedrun. Problem is, the geometry bugs were never fixed from the original games. The player can still go through walls, skip chapters and finish the game within 45 mins lol.

Brutal mode trophy is stupidly easy because of this.

Confirmed, 1.01 has improved the shadow quality.

Could be GST related? After GST implementation, my courier orders have been delayed by 2 days for them to calculate the GST and include the paperwork - even when no GST is charged.

If you pre-order from Sony, expect the stock to go through SIRIM and get the item 2 weeks later - but that was for 'Beyond: 2 souls' ps3 in 2013, dunno if it still happens today.

Same - at GH - their website shows 'in stock' for both regular n ltd...what gives?

Beyond - yes ALL shops got their copy - but sony center outlets somehow had to 'submit to SIRIM for certification' so I was told - only got my copy 2 weeks after EVERYONE had finished the game LOL but - not too bad, coz they gave me the pre-order goodies.

nah thatz only Press Kit Edition, only for reporters who were present in ND's final Press brief before launch...thatz not available for purchase or neither in Asia sad.gif

depends on the poslaju branch..if u go to those normal post office then yes, cut off is at 3pm. but if you go to those really poslaju office, they can accept as late at 630 (in muar) for those prepaid envelope. not prepaid up until 6pm only.

I think you can access camera mode without scratch, you need to activate it in 'Option'

Brutal Mode is not needed for plat either. Brutal Mode is simple in UC1 once you learn all the points to wall hack through the game, only area that is difficult is the last part on UC1 since you-know-who 1-hit kills anything 1 mile away with a shotgun. sweat.gif


...also, since you can technically get unlimited ammo by spawning the golden AK47/92FS, meh... just spray everything you see.

Remaster, not remake. 2 different terms.

It's... decent. The surround mix is the same from the originals, except now the game allows you to adjust the azimuths just like in TLoU. It's a decent fine tweaking setup, though there's not much point to it if you already have a well calibrated setup in the first place. That said, the surround cues in Uncharted games has always been pretty subpar. So in terms of that, nothing really has changed.

What about quality? Well... there's a drop in fidelity. I don't think Bluepoint re-encoded anything, but somehow... Uncharted 1 and 2 just doesn't sound as good as it does on the original releases. I double checked on this, switching between the PS3 and PS4 system simultaneously.
There's always a drop of dynamics on the PS4. This could be because the PS4 handles audio differently than the PS3, it could also be because of different audio hardware as a whole. Point is, the originals sounded better and I asked several other people to confirm it blindly and they'd always come back to the PS3 versions saying it sounds better.

Let me make it clear though, the audio isn't bad in any of the remasters. Many wouldn't even realize it, heck I wouldn't if I didn't have the equipment to monitor either.

I press Counter but sometimes Nate Doesn't do anything :\ & gets beaten
timing is perfect thatz what I can assure coz this is happening randomly but never happened on PS3...
anyone else facing issues like this?

guys im facing an issue where whenever i tried install the game and it keep saying game disc is dirty or maybe damaged and need to close application. fyi i have tried delete and resintall and update but prob still same. disc looks fine. but everytime it wants to install the 40gb game into my hdd the disc reading in the ps4 game slot is very loud. need help thanks fellow forumers

haha...replace the hdd u mean, sony will give me a new hdd or i have to replace it myself. i tried this morning rebuilding database. at first only drakes fortune can be install then came the same problem again. i guess my last resort is sony centre.
