@musha: Thanks! I designed and built it myself. The orders took over a month to arrive and some parts are still missing. Felt like the modulars scene was missing some Asian architecture.
*
very nice modular

great lobster

nice fences/balcony with wall colour combi

any inside shots?

for asian archi, i have design and now ordering the parts for this.
its a shorter version of 1910 prewar shophouse in Penang.

it would be nicer if the back was also covered like modular building rclxms.gif
*
the pic is actually two shoplots. left side is for me to see and do the interior, right side is to build the first floor structure

the actual one will have 2 floor and wall at back

but wont be cover cos that would not be accurate to the design of the house liao

Aha..a very nice one! This really like the pre-war shophouses Malaysia style.

Am looking forward for the "shit hole" at the back. Not sure i termed this correctly.

* Side note : The famous Line Clear Nasi Kandar in Penang, taking its name from the shout of 'line clear!". This gerai is located at back alley. In the old days, where flush toilets didnt exist yet, the "human refuse" were deposited into a container which will be collected from shop to shop thru this "shit hole".  Once done, the worker from this nasi kandar stall will shout "Line Clear" and they setup their stall back together with the meja kerusi.
*
the back toilet is really cramp one in the old shoplots. in my relative house i can barely get in and close the door. so 2x3 space is very generous liao hahaha

i am hoping to tie up with penang tourism via a friend to see if they are interested in a larger scale set. it would be fantastic to get to build a set of different shops base on the historical designs

give some time for legoland la.

i am sure it will be better but i dont expect the lego bricks portion to be good/great. its still a theme park first, and business will focus there.

it depends on individual. for me.. If anything requires more than 3 orders placed in BL. its a hassle, unless its for more than 1 sets I wish to replicate.

Actually there are cooler Architecture MOCs by others AFOL (eg Dubai's Burj) which doesnt seemed like needing a tons of parts, and worth BLinking to make it.
*
i went up kl tower last weekend... and thinking of whether we can do some local buildings. i see panjaangs fun moc on maybank tower.

i think use a 2x4 brick and 2 pcs 1x2 then can do berjaya times square liao haha

can explain moar ka? isit not snappy? edge too sharp? loose easily? Not fitting? Too tight?

Btw, how much & where?
*
my problem with enlighten bricks (its o-k as a brick toy but still way inferior to lego)

-
edge too sharp
inconsistent fit esp between bricks and plates
hinges feel flimsy when fitted
the thinner parts are not good fit. like a row of windows, when u line them up they are not straight de
minifigs loose at hands, arms. and headpieces dont fit well to the head.

+
a lot of guns/weapon
a lot of hinges

it is said that minifigs are actually manufactured with lower quality plastic
*
I am not sure if the plastics will have lower quality, because these (should be) mass produce likely alongside their standard minifigs. Its probably costlier to vary the plastic quality from a manufacturing point of view.

the other scenario is that the overall quality of all minifigs has drop...
