it was about rm5 each, so hentam few ~ thot of creating some shark group attacks scene

Btw, the biggest & 2nd bigger shark, is from duplo? very big  sweat.gif

You're missing something to complete the whole scene. put a minifig riding the biggest shark. This guy should be called "loan shark".

cheers smile.gif

Hey all,

First time posting here. Grew up on Lego back in the early 80s. Slowly poisoned and now need to ask:

How many variations of the Star Wars X-Wing are there? I see 6212 and 9493, which is better? I think this would be the first of many I plan to buy..I also thought of buying the train sets which I never got when I was a kid  sad.gif

bout which is better... its in the eye of the beholder. the one you felt more "cun" should be better for you of coz smile.gif

With all the rage on figs these days... we should really start a collaborative effort to make vignettes (8x8) ,(12x12) or (16x16) with local flavors.... then find ways to exhibit them by connecting them to each other. Maybe this can be our baby steps towards bigger things/events in the future.

We can make meaningful or sarcastic scenes on current happenings in this country, from "broken public toilets" until "bunch of yellow shirted figs with protest signs crammed into a 16x16 plate" biggrin.gif

For me I would hit on even more kampung flavored vignette like "atuk handling monkey climbing up palm tree" or simply "boy jumping into riverfrom tree branches"

the love for them grows thinner already.. haha .. and just staring at them, gives no feeling anymore ..
the minifigs really does nothing without a playset to fit them into .. sweat.gif

let me know which you interested in.. and we can work something out .. though i really prefer to let them go 1 shot, at good price of course ..
*
best prescription from a seasoned LEGO freak: "get a playset dammnit....! "

anyway.. LEGO figs are destined for bigger purpose , rather than being stared /admire at lining up on the shelf. you are master of their destiny. Dont let them down . make them do something.

Breaking news. LEGOLand Malaysia entrance vandalised and one "centerpiece" carted away last night. A shady figure was seen lingering around the area in a green lorry .

Nice LDD of the Melaka clockhouse. Would like to see it in brick form.

I did make a minifig scale shop house before. Used to tumpang a bricklink bulk purchase to get all the white bricks and roof tiles. Even a simple building like this almost 800+ parts and then need to use some of my own parts as well. The 2x2 dark grey tiles alone almost 60 cents EACH.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

I also saw the new Monster Fighters, Star Wars and Technic Crawler in TRU and Brickboy. Really tempted to get the crawler to add to my Technic flagship collection, just that I just spend alot on my recent Town Hall purchase  sweat.gif

Hey hey hey... I saw that peculiar sticker with coins on it. Looks like you also is a proud owner of this set:

My very first LEGO "building" set . Cost only rm3x.xx back in late 80s I think. I learnt to build it by heart since I cherish it so much.

Official launching this weekend... let them test until everything is fine. Unfair to judge now. Its like peeking into your wife makeup time HOURS before she walked the aisle and then complain she's not beautiful enuff for the special occasion LOL.

I feel weird now actually bout the upcoming LEGOLAND launch. NEVER in my wildest dream I expect one to be built here. Oh yeah as a kid the term "LEGOLAND" = just a theme/toyline . Years later when I found out there's actually a LEGOLAND theme park , I did dreamed of going all the way to Denmark and pay a visit there. (the usual "study hard. work hard. earn $$$. travel" thingy)

So this hobby of mine extended till I'm adult and actively bricking.... Why I am I here doing my routine daily stuff? why am I working now? shouldn't I be excited and drop off everything I hand ... and immediately plan to become the first group of visitors to LEGOLAND Malaysia? (sadly I can't coz there's a big deadline for me this month tongue.gif

Hi,

Just to say that I really admire your MOC and enjoy your blog. Thanks for sharing the instructions.
*
Thanks smile.gif

took me a while to start the blog since I always preoccupied with MOCing, with whatever free time I got. Gone through a devastating disaster where some of my MOC photos were gone after hard disk corrupted. Whats recoverable from brickshelf.com also are of lower resolutions. Im putting whatever instructions I able to compile and put online in chase "shit" happens again.

PaB looks pathetic. Even the tidbits section in local supermarket offers more choices.

Shall wait half year more for it to grow before I go there.

i wonder how much it will cost to brinklink all the parts hehe... is it worth the trouble
*
it depends on individual. for me.. If anything requires more than 3 orders placed in BL. its a hassle, unless its for more than 1 sets I wish to replicate.

Actually there are cooler Architecture MOCs by others AFOL (eg Dubai's Burj) which doesnt seemed like needing a tons of parts, and worth BLinking to make it.

I've just finished my latest LEGO Transformers MOC. before proceeding, click below to understand the TF character I build. The original toy carried some nostalgic moment for me. Never owned it and only gets to play with it during CNY in cousins house ... that was 20++ years ago :|

Kenali TF (ayah) anda: http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Snapdragon

And finally, hooe this would gather more appreciation for my MOC below:
