Finally.. this overpriced set from 2011 = rm89.90 everywhere. Must be a shelfwarmer coz I dont even touch it. Finally its in C4 MV for rm63. (this means its 30% off retail). After some meticulous parts counting.. rm63 for nearly 150pcs is still not tempting enuff for me...and I have 99% of the parts anyway (except the lighted up brick).

dont think so. assuming sets means boxed aka "bulkier" in shape... different calculations might apply (not to mention additional weight incurred by the instruction booklet as well) . However... you can ask seller to remove the box altogether and pack your stuff in a more "economical" way.

it transform without taking off parts. drop by my blog below and see the transformation sequence. this one considered simple already. I made few others more complicated and they took me months

nope.... mostly are sets found in retails.. MY family (except me) gone t here and took lotsa photos of the shop. no sign of exclusive items. the most "unique" product not found in other retail stores would be pick-a-brick.. even that I heard have poor selection.

I found SW mandalorian fighter to be pretty reasonable at rm219.90. just compare its box size to other lego SW sets . The model itself looks pretty big.. or izzit the big wingspan the fighter is having. Its FULL of wedge plates which are precious commodity for my MOC.

might get it one day =)

Some collector-wannabee wanna join the bandwagon for the sake of collecting /completing them. if they have the $$$, who are we to stop them from spending premium cash on it? =)

its Mcd snoopy and hello kitties case all over again.


when the hype is down... its gonna rot somewhere in their display case . and again , who are we to dictate how they gonna treat their purchase.

Im still glad its still available at expected pricing /method rather than the "Aftermarket". just snagged one this morning , hehe.

You're late by 4 years. it went on clearance back then I snagged one. I regret selling it at rm250. THe parts seems very useful.

castle can easily (re)build with bricks or borrow castle walls from LOTR sets, lol....

but vintage figs are priceless and each invoke precious memories of you playing with it as a child or licking it /putting in mouth then spit it back out.

Tried to get the car with ron95 but where made known its "out of stock" (Shell jalan kuching , near Bt Caves roundabout) . was suggested to pump ron97 and get the minifigs set. hmmmmmmm....

the plot thickens now.

Whats the set number?

I always wonder how they transport huge LEGO MOCs from one place to another. if the eye is taken out and the pointy tower moved around (escalator/lifts) ... it would kill someone if its not handled properly LOL.

with the current demand, its hard to differentiate scalpers or or "genuine buyers trying to help friends buy".

Even we ourselves trying to argue /justify our way into getting more units on pretext of doing frens a favor might be labelled as scaplers in some forum far away.

I have big plans for my acquisition. hehe... somewhat transformers related. It is a revelation that this promotion offers 5 cars + 1 truck... which reminded me of a Transformers group of bad guys

if we're close knitted community.. scalpers will cease to exist. Simply dunt layan them and blacklist them. Its the desperation of some willing to pay premium ,resorting to scalper smiling happily to the bank. they will continue to live and surface again to make another hit in the future.

As a community.. we can easily swap and I bet 90% of us will get what we wanted internally.


Sometimes I wonder... for the cars.. its merely stickers +lego parts easily acquired through brinklink. And I heard some legofans dislike overuse of stickers anyway. Suddenly its being polybagged and promoted all over.. it became "sought after" like hot cakes.

the truck is missing a trailer. I shall make one for it.
