I totally give up on Enlighten after I bought its "Hurricane Harbor" for rm40 . Inconsistent parts quality (some tight, some loose) made my fingers literally crying out to me to stop the torture to continue building.
I am Enlightened enuff NOT TO LAYAN anymore China LEGO KO's.

QUOTE(Caryane @ Oct 6 2012, 11:53 PM) Will it cost around the price of the Death Star Set? I think it will be more expensive than the current modular sets like Pet Shop. Knowing ALJ will jack up the price kau kau... definitely wont be death star pricing. Death Star has twice the parts as the Asylum. Maybe we can guess its price in RM... I would say [calculating and estimating.. please wait]........ RM699.90 or RM749.90

QUOTE(xfrenzy @ Oct 8 2012, 11:26 AM) your lego predaking looks impressive. does it dwarfs over snapdragon ? Thanks for the admiration , but not one of my best MOC in my opinion. looked pretty blocky and unstable. Yea nearly twice as tall as Snapdragon. But it was made more than 5 years ago and I have recycled the parts since then. This post has been edited by alanyuppie: Oct 8 2012, 10:30 AM

QUOTE(vey99 @ Oct 17 2012, 11:14 AM) i base on the straits heritage pre-war shophouse design. spent about rm400+ on bricks liao. expensive but its a joyful process. now the house is 50% built, will try to finish it in 2-3 days. thought of doing a few shophouses but the cost will be quite prohibitive to me. this is concept, is two shoplots. Woah thats pretty realistic. whats missing are rows of clothes hanging from outside the window.

QUOTE(mecharojak @ Oct 22 2012, 02:05 PM) HAHA-Ohwow.jpg High potential for a Springer base,... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « sourceWhat took 'em so long. KREO's been on the market for more than a year now.. only now LEGO started to do something bout it. I think the set above is like a "experimental version" to test acceptance level . I still see LEGO company very stingy on the hinges there. At least offer 2 MORE and make the knee bendable would make the 'bot mode much, much better. Anyway.. after looking at 2013 Creators.. I think I'll go broke soon.. 90% are must-buys.

QUOTE(FreakyRookie @ Oct 25 2012, 05:11 PM) but oversea seller is it trusted? normally u buy from jz one seller or different seller? any seller u recommend? Usually my orders are spread across few sellers and in less than rm100 each transaction. so I guess its worth the risks. There are never a single seller that have all the parts i need for me to plunge in more than rm200++ ALL my transactions stuff arrived as expected ,even though there are a few with missing parts . http://www.bricklink.com/browse.asptry featured /highlited stores perhaps ? Maybe they have build a reputation for themselves to merit that placing. My recent purchase from legostock have been smooth http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=legostockThis post has been edited by alanyuppie: Oct 26 2012, 10:04 AM

QUOTE(FreakyRookie @ Oct 26 2012, 01:33 PM) bro, how abt de postage fee ya? is it expensive? generally the shipping will be between 30% - 40% of your total orders. For my last transaction with legostock ... total parts: 620 price for parts: rm81 + shipping/insurance etc: rm33 total = RM114 note: many parts but ALOT of them are small parts (1x1 or 1x2 round/plates). so the weight is lighter compared to bigger sized parts . heavier = obviously shipping more expensive. not bad huh? but 99% of them I bought are used parts. and for white LEGO bricks... its expected to have minor stain/discoloring.
