Grado is good for rock music.

Can't really think of any open back less than RM 300, AT AD500 perhaps?

For that price....grado is quite ok la...but not that nice on rock or jazz to.me.....but on accoustic and pop...I will vote for its quality...humm.....

The best way is to have a tryout on the can then you will know is the can suit you or not....

You need to be specific if you are looking for a headset (earphones with mic). What works on iDevices does not necessary works on Android or BB. Even within Android, not a single headset will work with all Android phones.

So what phone exactly do you need the headset for hmm.gif

That is the 1st time ppl say grado not suit for rock. Jazz maybe but rock is what grado excel on. But then again different taste i guess

I listen from 50s rock and roll to metal btw.

Balance armature provides better accuracy, however XBA-1 will sound flatter compare with XP series.
