day before , got a fire at b2 , the samsonite shop ... it was put out , next day (sunday ) there was a blackout about 7-8 pm... then for some strange coincendence , a storage shed(according to the 1-u fb) on the rooftop caught fireduring the black out ..

maybe you don't shoot much "normal" food then will be okay

try go more expensive place which the food portion is super small while price ultra expensive will do

cannot liao... pay so much but cannot fill tummy..

and why people still insist that editing is the best is also beyond my brain

it's preference bro. i dont want to show how good my editing skills are, i just wanna show what is the best i can get straight from the phone. if it's not pretty, then i'll just work harder.

i saw you're not happy with your food shots, so i thought i can show you how much more you can gain by just color correcting your shots. like the one i did with your kit kat mug, where i only touch the white balance sliders. didn't even need professional softwares on fixing that. i understand you want to try to get it right without needing any post processing, but you're trying to beat a dead horse i'm afraid, nokia 808 white balance is as poor as my previous camera phone N95, and correct colors are one of the top priority for food shots. unless nokia allow user to customize their own white balance setting, there's no way you get it to work except to post process it.

if you insist on working harder to get the colors right, good luck getting your nokia 808 to behaves on the white balance performance bro.

you have my respect. Keep it up.will give u some tips on how to improve that shot without post processing.

u have to understand one thing bro. people like me, or aspire, we dont post pics for the sake of winning a contest, or to get voted for the best picture, or to get compliments. we just wanna show what's the best pic we can get straight from the phone. it's that simple. so if we edit our pics, no matter how amazing it looks like post-editing, it beats our cause and purpose.

i have nothing against editing, just that my cause is different than yours. as simple as that. (at least in this thread. in other threads, e.g. car pics thread, i often edit my pics to show the best pics for that car. cos in the car thread, my purpose is not to show how good my cam is, but just want people to see how beautiful the car is.)

and not to mention im colour blind, so i dont really like to mess with colours cos it might look different to u guys. i might post a picture of a bowl of pink rice and i might not even know it.
