UMS is not applicable for internal phone memory recovery? If only i can detect the memory as mass storage then i can use my own tool to recover d. I accidentally press delete button and lose all my daughter photo T_T.

how to go
1. go to /system/etc
2. open up default_gain.conf
3. notice the term "output volume" or "speaker volume", if applied the patch will be 63, so this is the value you are gonna change
4. how do you find what you wanna edit? well, see the term "modifier"? thats like the which part of the audio output to configure for your device, then there is this "SupportedDevice }" line, below it will determine what output hardware it will be going to use to sing, in there, find the line {"Speaker Volume", 63} and adjust values
5. You can also boost/reduce ringtone loudness by going to the modifier "Ringtone" and change the "speaker volume"
5. save it and reboot

go to app manager, look for phone, clear data/cache.
restart phone
see whether this might help ?

anyway i don't like lecturing others, but personally i do think he could have saved himself time solving his issue had he used the convenient link i provided than waiting for someone else hours later to spoon feed him the same info

so whether he want to do the smart thing or not, is totally up to him thats all i'll say on the matter.

Want to know if anyone else has this problem:

I'm using Handcent as my default messaging app. After installing Checkrom, the default messaging app I think is uninstalled already.

The problem is, due to the very lousy quality cell reception, sometimes my messages don't go out. This is ok if the phone lets me know, so I can retry.

However, Handcent does not. It will just keep "sending" in the bubble screen and it thinks the message is already sent when I click message details. Obviously this is nonsense as I think I have already replied but the message did not send out and there is no warning anywhere that the message has not been sent.

Any ideas? On previous android phones, Handcent will notify me whenever it's unable to send.
