QUOTE(emy_xvidia @ Aug 12 2012, 12:31 AM) Supernexus Build 2, at time of writing this, is being uploaded. Anyone wanna try this? Looks good, just maybe I'd prefer some of the Samsung features to be in it. Any way to inject those features in the .zip? If it's ASOP/AOKP, no way. The underlaying Sammy framework is simply not there. Unless they've managed to hybrid ROMs. |

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Aug 12 2012, 12:40 AM) Flashing a new ROM destroys EVERYTHING. i mean generally speaking, most people are like kyle from south park. they tend to just click okay for everything even if the permission list is told them right to their face.Sadly we can't lock CWM recovery/download mode with a password. THAT would be bawse. But amongst the tracking/anti theft apps I've used, Cerebrus is the undisputed champ. Samsung Dive (or anything else for that matter) pales in comparison. As for anti viruses, lol. Yes, malware IS an issue on Android, but eff, YOU ARE PRESENTED WITH A PERMISSIONS LIST WHEN INSTALLING STUFF, CHECK IT. I DO agree it helps for people who can't be bothered to check though - though myself I can do without the extra resource drain. Plus, got funny business happening to your phone? Nandroid restore lar. This is why taking 10 minutes a WEEK to backup helps. i do check a bit the permissions, and okay it. but i would later re-review it using anti spyware pro which will remind me which apps exactly have fishy permission rights, which i will double check against the googleplay permission rights for the app to confirm it's correct, as well as check forum for what other users are talking about those fishy permission rights. for example smartstay ex recent needed internet connectivity, why ? so the author finally removed that after people complained why unecessary permissions are required. Anyway i also recommend this app because if there is anything funny on your phone, there will usually be outgoing traffic to the hackers server. so this is an easy way to quickly identify whether internet traffic from your phone is legit or whether your device was compromised. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...rackerpro&hl=en This post has been edited by Moogle Stiltzkin: Aug 12 2012, 12:47 AM |

I used my own microSIM cutter to cut my SIM card.
Somehow the cutter cut of a little bit of the golden part of the SIM card. I realised that once in awhile, i don't seem to receive messages (SMS) even though the sender has sent it already. It's like the SMS disappeared somewhere in the maxis servers and i never receive it. I heard from a friend that this is what usually happens when the SIM card's golden part is cut off |

QUOTE(emy_xvidia @ Aug 12 2012, 12:46 AM) The main idea behind SuperNexus is to provide Vanilla Android experience just like Google's Nexus devices to other devices. A lot of under the hood improvements were done to Vanilla Android to get the best user experience. SuperNexus is entirely built from Google's AOSP Source. SuperNexus is very light too as there are no 3rd party apps (ZERO Bloatware). |

Sometime when installing an apps although it got list the permission for installation, some of them really don't know is it ok to agree for it. So better get something help me on it. |
