I'm in Kuantan for the next two days. Drove on the Karak and East Coast highway for the first time. Still getting used to reading the gauge. The thing is, it's really hard not to go above -10 hg when climbing hills. It's like, if I don't tekan I will lose momentum, but if I tekan summore it will climb towards 0.
Started out on a full tank. Got on LDP-MRR2-Karak Highway, then detour to Kuala Gandah cos Chris wanted to tengok real gajah. From then on to Kuantan, then tonight we went to Cherating and back, which is about 80 km total. Currently at 37x km with two bars left. Not spectacular, despite driving really gently while monitoring the gauge. Oh and it was raining a lot today after Kuala Gandah. I think wet roads have more rolling resistance. QUOTE(davidke20 @ Aug 7 2012, 12:23 AM) On today's driving I downshifted a lot trying to follow the gauge, when I would have normally left it in 5th gear and tekan. I did notice when starting off at traffic lights that on first gear it doesn't drop to 0 no matter how hard you tekan Anyway here's gajah pic Attached thumbnail(s) |

Difference?? if times allow i think i wil go usj there lo...calvin orang malaka mana?? According to YAB David, it's better to pasang the FSB first, drive around for a while to get a feel of it then only pasang RSB. |

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Aug 7 2012, 10:03 AM) It all depend on your preference. Prviously I did 36PSI for all 4 to save FC. My current setup require minor changes since the car tend to over react, so I have reduce my rear pressure to 32PSI. My current ideal setup(for my car, don't know about yours) as below: Currently, mine is 33 PSI front, 31 rear. Measured cold before driving off.1) Drive alone - Front 36PSI rear 32PSI 2) Drive long distance with family - Front 32PSI rear 29PSI(for comfort) 3) Drive with full load of hot chicks - Front 36PSI rear 34PSI(maintain traction+able to see some bouncing boobies) 4) 0-100kmh drag race - front 24PSI rear 40PSI(can't take corner at all) So, it depends on how you feel. Each time you go petrol station refill your tank is the good time to start exploring different kind of setup, as long as reduce rear tyre pressure compare to front wheels, I think that will be sufficient. Added on August 7, 2012, 1:04 pm QUOTE(r3apers @ Aug 7 2012, 10:27 AM) YAB Davie - 100++ Ahh which corner is this?V12K - 120++ Dares - 80++ Kenjilew - 150++ r3apers - 50++ no problem... but try to gentle floor it if not FC habish... QUOTE(Slevin Sent @ Aug 7 2012, 03:13 PM) Calculate your consumption properly first with precise figures. Start with a full tank, reset your trip meter, drive, fill up then divide quantity by distance. Quantity (L) / distance (km) x 100 gives you your consumption in L/100km. Get yourself a fuelly.com account to log your consumption. That way you can clearly see any changes when you're working on improving your consumption. QUOTE(Mahihi @ Aug 8 2012, 01:14 AM) my itchy leg juz kenot maintain the speed at the correct pressure,it will ownself shoot up til 100,lol LOL I know right. One thing that can help is to reward yourself, if you do well on one tank, you can rempit on the next one Added on August 8, 2012, 1:25 am QUOTE(THE CLASS OF 13 @ Aug 8 2012, 01:08 AM) anyone can help me how to use fuelly? really confuse..i think need step by step..right now my odo is 3407km..before this fill up RM41 5 bar..then went to seremban from segamat and then back to segamat again..left 2 bar right now..total km tracked 304km..fyi me already use fuelly several times..but the information is not accurate..really dunno how to use it.. You must, you must always fill the tank full to the brim. Never fill a fixed amount otherwise Fuelly will not work properly. Fill until the nozzle trips. I'd suggest you erase your previous logs and start afresh from the next full tank.this is the link to my fuelly..calculate using odometer.. http://www.fuelly.com/driver/asip92/saga This post has been edited by lhwj: Aug 8 2012, 01:25 AM |
