QUOTE(r3apers @ Aug 8 2012, 09:39 AM) Nice~! hope my 4AT can achieve that~! i thought u said u drive slow already... i only can confirm u after 15 aug... wakakaa alamak.. now block shifting pulak.. but i heard not every car can do it... our gaga can ar? Nothing special about block shifting la...as long as u match speed VS RPM, u can shift whatever u like. Let say 1st gear tarik till red line, is about 40km/h, 2nd to red 80km/h, @ 80km/h normally will be 5 gears already, so just shift 2nd gear straight to 5th gear also no problem.

QUOTE(lhwj @ Aug 8 2012, 11:06 AM) This is one thing I dare not try Sked I damage the tranny if I shift wrongly i personally feel hard on our manual la, sometimes even clutching shift from 4th to 5th also got 'krekkk'...somemore no clutch... I just shift to N without clutch la, in gear not try yet...just want to learn this 'skill', so that next time when clutch kong i still can shift gear rather than call tow truck...

But there were a couple of times when my reverse sensor beeped once while shifting from 4th to 5th Added on August 8, 2012, 11:29 amGot lah. Oh you mean broken dog clutches and synchros? Can still try and claim lah maybe i shift too fast, this gearbox really can't quick shift one...

You guys think our manual gearbox can pour in engine use 0-30W FS EO or not? Thinking to reduce some torque loss due to drag from the gear train being immersed in the lubricating oil of the gearbox. Right now if not mistaken it was filled with 75W oil.

Got question wanna ask FLX CVT user... During down hill, CVT will auto do engine braking. This engine braking is it can canceled by deep throttle a while (like in 4AT u wanna drop gear when overtake)?

QUOTE(dares @ Aug 9 2012, 02:04 PM) Yep. What you mean deep throttle though? just tap lightly on the throttle and hold it (don't release) will do. Added on August 9, 2012, 2:07 pmGroupon one is better (of course more expensive). The dealmates one is no better than the stock tint. Means engine braking can canceled by tap lightly and hold it la? Why no ppl mentioned before geh? Many CVT ppl said they dun like engine braking, but u all just replied it is normal only...
