I don't see any problem with MagneTrap. If you want, you can use. No harm. The argument is valid after all... I might go for it on my next service

By the way, I was told to go for service only after 10KKM. I'm currently clocking 7500KM on 10W30 Syntium 800. Anyone else given similar advice? I'm asking here since more people feedback

now mine also 6k+ km...will go service at 10k km...1k,10k,20k

Yes the theory is sound, except the magnetrap magnet is too weak to be useful. So actually you spend that money for nothing.

There are proper magnetic filter rings with much more powerful magnets. my friend has one that costs over RM 200.
