.The game is free to play with various opportunities to upgrade for free ( completing quests earn you favor which unlocks the currency Turbine Points. You use Turbine Points to unlock more content ( player races, player classes, quest packs and etc ).
Alternatively you can pay the monthly subscriptions (3m 6m 12m etc)
There is a new promotion pack which is quite worth it based on the upcoming module Menace of The Underdark. Looks pretty cool and the PCs will be going to Faerun from Eberron where the game is mostly based.
@Chanfui - Kyhber server has a lot of Australian and Asian (Singaporean) players. I've heard tell of some Malaysian guilds there and have seen a few names (kesatria, lembu etc) but for the main guilds, they have one or two hardcore players from Malaysia but thats about it.
