If u're running wireless, try to use B/G mode instead of B/G/N mode.
If having problems with Apple devices or older Wireless adapters, Turn off Auto 20/40 Channel Width, use 20 only.
If wireless still got issue, try running INSSIDER to scan which networks are around u, using what channel. Try to select a channel that has least interference with others. This is very useful if u're staying in a condo/dense area where u can get more than 15 wifi within your reach. Happen to me before, wireless ping to my router more than 20% drop and more than 100ms, cause got 12 wifi running on original channel 6 -.-
For general connectivity issues, maybe u can try turning off the internal firewall of the DIR615 if it's on. That firewall really slows down the router.
N also change the DNS to OpenDNS or GoogleDNS. GoogleDNS would be faster as servers are in Malaysia 8.8.8.8 ; 8.8.4.4. OpenDNS in singapore.
