sorry i kinda reply late... because haven;t really checc on the forum for sumtime... well actually... i only manage to disemblethe LCD .. and keyboard ..i could not ...get the body to dissemble.. since this is not a branded laptop its hyundai.... pretty difficult to get any guides only.. on taking off the whole lappie.. so i just did a msking for the rest...

nice.... is that tape masking coz i'm looking to abuse my new hp too... i can't figure how... since its brand new... painting .. abit too radical .. i guess... tape masking is definately a good idea....

do u guys know which website tat provide information for takin out laptop case? Keen to mod my laptop as well...

Go do the case wrapping thingy like the handphones. It's very nice from what I c in the photos. It's in the garage sales section. I'll post the link when I c it later.

how did u do the vinyl ? on the top? the red colour lines? how u separate them?

well first i spray the Black background ... the after that i draw the vinyl onto a masking take ... cut out according to the drawing... then i tape it on the cover... and cover the rest... making sure only the part i want to be red is exposed.. the i spray it with red.... then wala!!! aftef 3 layer ... i wet sanding it... to make it flat... and begin spaying the clear coat.. the out come is.. a flat surface... have to make sure that the background complete dry before doing the masking.. other wise... ugly~~~~~

wat u use to wet sand?

wet sand using 1000 or 800 sand paper which can be used for wet or dry sandning as u can see from the pic....



and this is the sray paint i use its TOA brand from thailand .. as u can see its acrylic lacquer base and cheap too only RM 4.5 for each..

Sprayed mine also.. At first it was to blank n all black.. so i decided to put some "lame" design..
