after change to 16 inch rim + tyre - fuel shoot to 8L/100km ...and also can really feel the car loose the pick up 

but the handling is more comfortable n car look nicer 

so how many hp and torque after bolt on turbo?auto?

Hvnt buy the tire yet.. I just went around to survey the price.
I read that the tire compound works well only when its heated.. so that suitable for msian weather..
now running around 0.65 bar.. but the owner plans to reduce it.. He wants more reliability.. mb around 0.5bar.. for him around 150whp he is more than happier..

I don't have the service manual with me so cannot confirm but usually the standard maintenance schedule is based on NORMAL driving condition. About 99% of us fulfilled at least one of the conditions for SEVERE driving category, just the country's temperature alone would push our cars into this SEVERE category.

Usually SEVERE category has most of its components service interval reduced by 30% or half. ATF is one of the most overlook lube that need to be change. According to the CHIEF MECHANIC at SPOON, he even asked to CHANGE ATF at every service, more so than engine oil coz unlike ENGINE OIL that has a stock cooling system, ATF has no cooling system unless modded otherwise. The more the heat, the faster a lube is render ineffective.

Eventhough our environment is dusty, its not considered as harsh environment lah.. The dust would not go in much unless ur car piston emission ring rosak ady, causing exhaust blowby..
Preferably for the first service change at 20k.. After that u can change at every 30-40k interval..
I notice some similarities between our Cusco tin.. hehehe..
Significant for me sounds like an overstatement.. Or maybe because u are getting lesser torque with NGV?
I did try the FireStorm too during TT.. It felt good, providing some very smooth and better torque increase over the lower RPM (<2000RPM). However during the 2k-3k RPM range the torque increase is rather minimal, but it somehow feels like my  engine lethargy at the 2.5-2.7k RPM was somehow improved. As for higher range RPM i did not feel any benefits probably due to short testing.. But the effects are negligible.

Conclusi is FireRibut might give some gains, but at RM220 its better off getting Stage 1 EFR at RM350 with free dyno and better performance increase. As for EFR its up to u on how u specify the tuning of the EFR that will affect ur FC.. if u want just a 2-3hp gain but more FC saving, then of course u ur car will have much better FC than stock with some slight performance gain.. If u kasi tune like xandras who wants maximum power then be prepared to suffer from higher FC.
Yeah i get instantly 40-50km more mileage with the same driving pattern.. and its consistent.. Furthermore if u were to modify ur pattern to suit the new powerband u can get even better mileage..

Definitely paint first b4 install.. U can bake the paint longer on the bodykit alone compared to putting the whole car in the oven and baking it.. Furthermore painting after installing the bodykit would result in connecting areas not being painted..
haha.. Cos u pakai NGV.. Lucky its COSE.. They close an eye abit.. U go small SC they straight away write down in the book what mods u have done void the warranty.

The works one is mechanical fuel regulator.. there got another one which is electronic adjustable one.. can adjust on the fly.. mine is the same one as xan.

Oh that one is mechanical regulator.. It wont really increase FC that much, but will increase power to a certain extend lah.. Not that much power increase also after dyno-ing hammie's car the other day. The electronic ones work more smarter.. like how to control ur A/F ratio together to cheat the ECU to either deliver more/lesser fuel.. the Works one works by (no pun intended) maintaining a constant fuel pressure to the injectors so that the fuel flow is constant. In modern cars its rather irrelevant for performance gain..
More than double the price.. Around 8XX if not mistaken.. EFR by speedworks only RM350 with free dyno run..hehe..

Yeah.. so thats y for the same price i rather go for EFR Stage 1..
Im not sure on the fc gain though.. most of the time is lesser fc gain.. it helps to tune ur a/f ratio nicely..
mine final result 127hp and 144NM torque. Waaaayyy better acceleration compared to Firestorm.. and fc from what i noticed is if u r cruising it goes below 5.7L/100km @110kmh.. Never test top speed yet as no time..

Not really necessary to self tune for it.. the self tuning feature is more of a niche that i dont really need.. even my ETC now also at EC5 only.. Barely change also cos i still know how to manipulate the throttle if i want more power in EC5 mode.

RS Dynotune can get it.. Very worth it for the amount u spend and the extra performance u are getting.. Its sort of like putting in a mini piggyback..

haha.. It depends on what u want. If u want it to be tuned for more power, be prepared for heavy FC if u accelerate hard.. If u tune it for normal power gain only, u can see ur average FC dropping a lot more compared to stock FC as the FC when cruising is very low.. Even lower than what ur stock / modified car can achieve. Overall for RM350 really worth it..

I never knew that Persona car keys and remote can be so darn expensive. Considering the age and price-point, I didn't know there was a built-in immobilizer (however you spell it). It was the first batch with IAFM. Well, I guess that's more than 5 years old.

So I went to the keyshop and was quoted RM180. That's already expensive enough. To top that, the locksmith said that it can only open the doors and not start the engine. So what's the point? Feeling puzzled, I went to a locksmith in Putrajaya who quoted me RM250 which can open the door AND start the engine. And the shop owner is kind enough to explain in detail why it cost more than a normal remote. Even took apart the key to show me the components.

To avoid risk of accidentally locking myself, I agreed. Now, to think about it, it's not too expensive considering the amount of work. It's not just duplicating the metal part and matching the remote frequency. The locksmith had to plug a console cable on my car and perform some reconfiguration.

Moral of the story - Don't lose your car keys!

I wouldn't bother installing an "F1 Style" braking light. It looks ugly on a Persona. In fact it looks ugly on every single car I have come across that have it installed.
