HI there, i went to a umoblie fair near in alor star applied mnp from digi and bought a new sim card for rm5.

this is my review about umobile (mobile) after 2 days use in klang velly.
the coverage/internet is really2 suck.even at ca4 wangsa maju appear G/E but cannot access the internet/whataspp
poor coverage.hard to get full bar.i think digi much better than umobile in term on coverage.with digi,i can get H all the time in klang velly n seldom get E nowadays.
i tested at wangsa maju,bandar sunway,taman melawati area.
the best speed about 1.5-1.8Mbps
currently using prepaid to testing purpose.
thinking to stick with digi instead of convert to umobile.
this is just my experience.
tomorrow im going to karak.let see if umobile can alive at there.

What's the procedure / testing to know that you're on Maxis?  Also do we need to set data roaming [on] to get Maxis's data (normally I turn it off to prevent accidental overseas charges).

I think U Mobile is busuk one..

If you top up any amount and then you will free calls to any Umobile network.

Then if you subscribe to Mobile Internet plan, you will get free X minutes calls and X SMS to any networks.

However, if you make calls to u mobile numbers, they will deduct from your free X minutes given. Instead, those calls to U mobile should not be deducted from the X minutes.
