I really hope they can start improving the coverage in Penang area now.
The package is really attractive and best bang for bucks, too bad the coverage is extremely disappointing.

It makes your mobile not mobile.

within KL is very good, many users mnp to umobile already, like u say good pricing and longer credit period, and good service. digi is cheap pricing, but 'hard to use the service now, no point...'

i think umobile provide a flexibility here to suite different personal needs.

u28: 1GB, free 100sms, no free voice calling.

prepaid 28: 500MB, free 30sms, free 100min calling.

if no much internet activities, seems prepaid better. (after quota, both are believed at 64kbps)

just wonder what if a person prepaid first subscribe RM28 package, then also subscribe RM40/68 data 2GB/5GB , is that allowable?

Thanks coolstore!

I guess I have to go for postpaid U28 since I need the internet very much.

My last question, can my hotlink prepaid number MPN to uMobile postpaid?
Cost I need to subscribe the U28 plan...

ya, forgot you also offer mnp service.

at least got 2 members offering umobile service (rarely see umobile service pop up in online community), interested parties no need travel long way to umobile center and queue, member should be appreciate this loh. (later on we all can roam on Maxis 3G network already, maybe just next month, that time mnp may take more days to complete.)

sometime DIGI MAXIS just reject the MNP process with lame reason due to don't want to lose loyal customers, that takes more time for mnp process

Somewhere around Bayan Lepas.

How is the speed after exceeding quota ?
*
just go to 7-11, buy a umobile RM8 only, use up the preinstall RM5 credit to buy 1 day 500MB broadband to test out, then knowing exact performance at your place. no contract hazard, just RM8.

u28 prepaid can use with 3g usb modem or not?anyone have try it?
*
this is WHAT MAKE UMOBILE STAND OUT apart from other 3G telco doing here:

umobile single simcard can use for normal phone call or phone call + data or only data usage.

unlike the other telco, this card only for data, that card for phone+data, and that card only can call no data.... wub.gif end up sucking lots of money...

finally the air time bonus was in yesterday night, took around 72 hours to work out, not 24 hours as they claimed...

is this due to lots of users now....? or pure system slow respond matter

will update again after 24hrs...

mine RM1.50 credited after 72 hours.

called to same nation, several months before: RM40 top up, received sms no long after making the call (whereby that time my main intention was not getting bonus air time, was really need to call overseas with enough credit).

last week to same nation, main intention is to get air time bonus, = 72 hours waiting.

they read my mind... (joking)

just be patient wait till u got the sms notification, called their cs hotline waiting 10min also no one bother pickup. morning, noon or night.

I oso went by 7e today and saw the banner. I was afraid UM decided to revise the plan, but thank god we now have 2 options!! I myself like umi28 better because I need the free mins. I can suggest the umi18 for my students to use.
*
yup, that RM18 plan really tempting ppl to switch data based communication network with whatapps or other free voice calling... abandoning sms and tradisional calls...

xox ride on celcom under fire...
