Yup,wiring same with 4g91... Fc not sure yet coz today 1st day only.... tongue.gif but I think keep revving so sure petrol high a bit.... Anyway, con is when u travelling in low rpm, respond very slow... Maybe is because mine is underpower from 4g93 la... Think need to keep at least 2.5k  I think... sad.gif
*
Just becareful coz the mapping might not be compatible and the timing if incorrect it will blow ur engine due to head detonation. Just take note ok.

as long there is oil between the min and max level should be ok liow.... if over the max level means too much.... even after i park my car for a week without start, it should be at the max level never exceed. after start the car and warm up and let it cold down, it will be at the level above half somewhere 3/4

yours is MMC or VDO? if MMC the gear original cost RM65 and local RM29/set. If you dont take the magnetic gear then it will be RM20 and ori should be RM39.

If MMC you may reset the stepper motor. There is a brown connector on the firewall and you need to put to ground before start the car. after start edi, you will need to adjust the target idling (adjust with ac off, lights off and make sure fan no run)

You can also confirm the isc gear got ko or not by removing the 2 screws and inspect. Pls dun put normal grease inside as it is incompatible. You may get plastic high temp gear grease from any tamiya shop.

Halo halo, sorry for the late reply. Long time didn't follow up this thread. Please take good care of this thread, oh Mr TS. Btw my Wira has been sleeping for quite some time, 2 months already until battery kong. So many things to be done to that car. Lost track of mileage record for servicing due to malfunction meter. Saman to settle before renewing roadtax. doh.gif

Mine RM50 can get around 250km++ however...i'm heavy footer...so most time always rev till 7000rpm when pick up.... I pump Petronas.....i feel Petronas give me more mileage compare with Shell..

BTW i'm running on 215 45 R17 rubber & 4 Pot Brake....so is heavier then most Proton...
*
almost same mileage like mine 4G15 Auto.... mine Max RM50 280km..... my driving style 99% full throttle and maintain 6k rpm... traffic jam most of the time on L and 2 only.... will put to 3rd gear when reach 140km/h...

drive like this coz so frustrated with this stock engine....

I just replaced my MAP sensor on my own last week. Seems now FC is better now. Now only problem is need to fix engine overheating issue. Waterpump and thermostat I already replaced, but it seems like the radiator is a bit clog and causing overheating at high load or high rpm. I cant find a place to open up the radiator to clean for me.... maybe I will replace a whole new radiator...
*
Can you share the reason of replacing the map sensor?

Thanks

seems like the value incorrect and causing A/F too lean hence knocking. Right now issue solved. Because previously I already slowly diagnosed and finding the culprit of the knocking such as petrol filter, fuel pump and etc
*
yup thats the symptom but its rare....

sorry bout that, I'm don't know much bout car internals.

erm,

yea it died when gear was N.

also, if it is any help,

1. press throttle
2.engine rev up
3. release throttle
4, engine rev down, till it shudders/shakes, like want to die any moment
5. then rev back up to normal idle
gets worse when AC is on. or when I on the headlights.
also, nowadays the car feels sluggish in the morning, and the symptom above is worse in the mornings also.

petrol just pumped. so wouldn't be fuel kosong i think.

also.. it's my parent's car , but I'm using it for now. so I am not sure what maintenance it has gone through. though the timing belt , oil is all new. not sure bout others though.
*
throttle body stepper motor issue... it will compensate RPM when there is a lod (eg lights on, fan, ac or etc)

Need to reset the stepper motor and see 1st

BTW your car is 1.5 MMC or VDO? what year is your car? Carburator or Fuel Injection?

Is it possible to custom adjust the automatic downshifting while in D?
My 4speed gearbox refuse to downshift until I slow to a near stop.
*
4G92 there is no cable to adjust however your issue seems like your throttle cable loose... it can happen too if throttle cable too loose... for the 3AT it can be adjust.. because 3AT is mechanical driven and runs on a cable share with the throtle cable.
