They're 100% a fucking scam. They prey on the gullible and trustworthy. Why else would the refund policy be so fucking unfair.

A friend of mine got suckered into going through with it and curiosity took him all the way to phase 3. He signed up because they allowed him to talk to a bunch of people who he viewed as trustworthy (and what a coincidence, even someone who went to his university who had a sob story about how McOcean changed their life).

This friend of mine is as honest as they come and they knew it. They pressured him into signing there and then, and when he asked if he could have a day to think about it, they kept insisting he signed it there and then. He made a really stupid decision and decided to sign up there and then, suckered in by the beautiful story they told.

He regretted it about a week or two later, asked for a refund. But their refund process is crazy complicated. Upfront they keep about 10% (admin fee... ) and 6% gst (because when you pay the RM30k+, you're essentially buying their products, they treat this as a sale for their company hence the gst collected, which is absolute bullshit and a way to make people feel as if they shouldn't quit becuse they'd lose the 6% gst on top of the 10% admin fee).

Furthermore, they won't take back products where the box has been opened, even though the contents are intact, and they'll take back whole boxes only. (When you buy the products, they give you 5 boxes each with a variety of bullshit products - seriously, it's crap, filled with dubious claims, shit like ionizers and overpriced health drinks).

They also won't give you back the balance, you gotta collect it from your upline, which they only have to do if they can make more sales.

If the upline does give bak the money, my friend will lose circa RM10k, if they goyang kaki and don't or lie, he will lose RM25k++, almost 70% of how much he paid. Yeah, he made a stupid decision to join, but this is no way for him to be punished, especially knowing how innocent and honest this guy is.

Don't join McOcean, they do not have your best interest at heart, all of them. They're conmen who prey on the hopeful and I wouldn't be surprised if many of the guys in it are also conned but feel stuck since they're RM30k + in the hole. But by deceiving people, they're the same cockroaches as the rest of the lot...
