Therefore my father took over the role by sourcing the materials, fittings, logistics, mobilisation of equipment to hiring his own workers and pilers. All in all he had saved more than a mil by doing it all himself. Btw, he had built 2 bungalows himself. Buy land, appoint architect and become the contractor himself. The difference in quality by supervising/building a home yourself is totally worth it but it’s not easy.
