sPvP have no home world restriction.

WvW will have home world restriction, so you can't join with your guildmate from a different world.

What to do now? Weekend, finish half day work comeback home... GuildWars2 all over the place except the game itself...

Am currently thinking of the map progression, probably go Human 1-15, then jump to Norn 1-15, 15-25 (!!! *that* set of armor is there, hopefully not changed) before jump back to human 15-25. I love those icy locations.

Hmm, this is rather confusing.

Let say a trait skill in elementalist EARTH trait says "deal 5% more damage if enemy within melee range". And that skill not specified you need to be in earth attunement or not... So, if I am on FIRE attunement... Does that skill work?

This scenario is same with most other skills the not specified with any element such as

"Gain 3% more critical-hit damage for 10 seconds when you use an arcane skill." under AIR trait.

So the core question is: are trait-skills with NO elemental specified to it, still active if not attuning to the element-trait it based on? For sure Arcane works all the time, now the confusion is on the elements.

yes definitely, such as deal "10% more damage while attuned to fire".

Headache... what to go... cantrip? glyph? arcane? signet? crit build? conditional damage build? pure damage build? There are quite a lot of varieties to play with

I never really take note/experiment with those stats before, so no idea.
Just playing power, power, power for the pass betas... Better figure out on crit and condition damage later
(and note that, condition damage ignore defence)

Jeweler 125 - still 2 stats but higher number
Jeweler 200 - combine gems to create 3 stats on one gem

There will be 3 styles I interested in- pure damage, critical, and conditional damage

Cast no.1 .... Static Field + Arcane Blast combo : 10s, 40s/cd (AoE, Staff Air skill no.5)
10s later... Cast no.2 .... Glyph of Elemental Harmony : 10s, 20s/cd (self healing skill)
10s later... Cast no.3 .... Windborne Speed : 10s, 30s/cd (AoE, Staff Air skill no.4)
10s later... Cast no.4 .... Glyph of Elemental Harmony : 10s, 20s/cd (self healing skill)
10s later... loop back to no.1 .............. BWAHAHAHAHA Infinite swiftness boost

Condition damage is a well, negative [CONDITION], that IGNORE defence modifier and deal pure damage. Correct me if I'm wrong :3

Critical is under precision, divide into critical chance (starting 0%) & critical damage (starting 50%).

Was played Charr ranger abck in stress test... So I was a mighty looking Charr, been given a rather small axe... And throw throw the axe around.
And pet die so quick... Imagine that kind of feeling.

The problem here is, not everyone played every class in depth, if you want me to judge anything out of elementalist then there's no way.
By just looking at the description on the calculator can't really have 100% clear idea how those skills works, until a player have actual experience with them.
So for now, I can just came out with a few theories with those calculathorzzz. Not even sure if it works in actual game later.
But still, since we won't be level80 right off the start (PvE of course), the build we planned will require some times to grow- what is the priority part in the build to maximize character potential?

Damge + Crit + Conditional Damage. To focus in all three... will need Jeweler level 200 first. That's going to take some times, and maybe higher level materials...

Rather common question on ping -> 300ms+-

Certainly PvE gear totally different from sPvP. We use generic gear- helmet, chest, bra, pant, rings, etc...
I don't think PvE gear stats will vary too much from low to high level other than slightly higher number and additional two or three stats (not as crazy as those PvP's)
