Oh... so component set will have mid bass+tweeter+crossover... Does the mid bass and the tweeter on different speaker independently or it's on a same speaker like the one I'm installing now... come to think of it, it should be separate right... hm.. so normally how much will an OK set of component speaker cost?

separated.

mid bass typically install at lower door panel while tweeters are at least on dashboard or higher on the a-pillars of your car.

most reputable brand component sets are at least rm400-500 or more.

boston acoustics s60 are around rm500 i believe.

Ah... Hm... will look in to that. Just curious, can I remain the rear speaker for the sake of the base as I feel the base sounds quite good. but of course i know it's not as good as per the standalone sub woofer. But I don't really like very heavy and deep base. Just don't want to waste it tongue.gif

then you need to fork out more money on the component set as you're not getting money returned from selling off/trading in the rear speakers.

also, good component set's mid bass is more than enough mid bass one can need smile.gif
