Advice is to go with reputable companies. I had mine done with a ID recommended one and was a disaster. Actual measurement came in wrong, didn't recommend lightings, flimsy knobs. Slightly cheaper but no point

Does Signature Kitchen charge for installation fees if we purchase our sink, hob, hod, built-in oven and etc not from them directly? Initially my salesperson said can buy ourselves but once purchased said need to be charged separately from their initial quote

better ask. some shops includes installation fee and you buy your own stuffs, some will charge installation fee, some will be included in cabinet price.

best is you confirm with Sales and make sure all the details are written in your invoice. including plumbing job for your sink even though it's really nothing much.

My kitchen used Signature Kitchen as well. They said WOW customer experience, indeed everything was great during the consultation. Now before 4th year, nightmare started to reel in.

Anyone have the email contact of their management?

My current house kitchen was done by SK. They are expensive but at least they delivered. What I don't know is what are your nightmare after 3 to 4 years? Care to elaborate.

I wouldn't recommend SK to people who are value conscious. There are other competitors that offer cheaper solutions at similar level

SK quite professional. My only complaint (minor) is the way they open holes for the gas pipe/electrical cables. What they did was just use a drill bit to make a hole which to me is not the correct way. They need to use a proper hole drill bit to make a proper hole so there is no rough edges and also should install some kind a grommet at the hole to prevent rough edges from cutting into cables or piping.

The other complaint I have is - my cabinet type is handleless. Because of this, they need to drill holes onto the corners of the table top. Because they had to cut into the MDF board, it exposes the inner layer to water. They should have maybe apply silicon glue to the exposed parts to prevent from water. I know Im just been picky a bit.

Other than that, my experience with SK has been perfect although I must say, it all depends on the branch/outlet and the person you deal with. I went to several SK branches before I was happy.

One more thing I like to add. I used acrylic door fronts for my cabinet. SK's acrylic are manufactured I think in Australia using high pressure forming process onto the MDF boards. Some local ones are just stick on and you will feel the sharp edges and may peel off after sometime. SK's acrylic door fronts imho are superior. Even the boards used for the internal shelving are properly formed with no sharp edges or exposed fiber board.

Hi bro, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I'm interested to know more.. May I know what are the issues you are facing with sk? Went to get quotation from them pretty impressed so far, but can't help to wonder about their quality and all.

Don't listen to unsubstantiated bs from people who just blurted out complaints without facts. If u read the post carefully, how can one be happy for the first three years and now is having issues?

Based on my experience with SK, they are very professional but also very expensive for the materials used. If u have the budget, they will deliver the look that they promise u. But u can probably get better "value" in terms of better materials for the same price they charge u if u are willing to look for other suppliers. But then the risk is u could do worse as well if u don't select the supplier well. I don't recommend SK to people who are price or value conscious. But to say they are crappy is not true.
