I am comparing it with ainol novo7 tablets, aurora 1 and aurora 2, both also 1gb ram. Max free i can see using ES Task explorer is 600mb. But this max free of 400mb on galaxy nexus. 200mb difference is a lot. Just wondering if everyone else is getting this. If yes then I am fine with it. Just want to make sure it's not due to something I installed.
My max free never exceed 200mb during normal circumstances and I'm happy with it cuz it just means apps are properly cached wherever they are needed. In fact most of the time it hovers around 100-130mb.
That's why very confusing... in About Phone, it shows IMM76K. In Toolkit V 7.4, IMM76K is CDMA / LTE model. What is your model? Should be IMM76I right?
By the way... mine is ori SME.
mine is JRO03C
anyway, instructions are there for reference only. Always apply some common sense when executing those instructions
so yeah, ours is definitely GSM phones, so just follow the GSMs instructions
Then may i know how to control those apps to not to prompt me the notification? Like those games
Notification in the notification bar? If u in JB, just long press the particular notification you have issue with. Then select app info. Look for show notification, untick that.
If u mean in app notification, nothing much can be done I suppose .
Mmm integration not so well on 6.9.0 because if you speak "driving directions to xxx" it will show you G Maps first (but u can launch Navigation from there), where as 6.9.2 it directly launch Navigation.
Any other tricks?
Hahha that is not integration problem, its user problem. U ask for directions of course it open map first. Try ask navigate to xxx, then u get navigation
It does but it don't appear in recent app ... This one will auto appear in recent app
Strange, u install as user app or system app? Mine doesn't appear in recent app but I know it had auto run looking at the background processes. I installed as system app. Don't know if that makes any different
izzit you bought/same cradle from brotan in garage? I'm also looking for any new great music player. currently using Google Music, there is no direct function to scan only the folder we like. (PowerAMP have it) second, Apollo player bundled from custom rom, same thing.

Oh guys, I have this parking tag pass and a tag pass to enter room. I tried to tap it on my phone, but it doesn't work? Tried to download an App from PlayStore to read the tag, but nothing happened.
I guess it's either my NFC has problem?
Anyways this isn't a big deal, I don't think i'd be using NFC.
I don't think your test is conclusive, to test whether your NFC is working or not, you should test with a proven working card, such as Touch N Go, not with unknown type of card.
Do you know how many type of touch pass cards are there ? not all are NFC compatible
1 question : do i need to untick the 'Data enabled' in mobile network settings to prevent it from using my phone's GSM/HSDPA/3G network (which costs MONEY)?
I reloaded after i got it. Then 1 day all my credit gone. I suspect it used my mobile network
Yes. Untick 'Data enabled' / Disable data or whatever options available. Best, delete the APNs as well
that method i tried. but need to reboot n will have duplicate files.
iinm, es has the ability to take over the android system browser in ringtones selection. i accidentally press to use android system as default when pop-up asking which app to use (android system or es explorer.) i cant the find option to make the pop-up come out again..
anybody with es explorer care to try, in sound setting > phone ringtone. see if got option to select which app to use (android system or es explorer.)
go to manage app ,switch to all application tab and looks for Android System. Tap on it and then tap on clear default. Then try setting your ringtone again, a popup should popup asking you to choose between ES and Android System
tried, but my android system clear data, clear cache, clear defaults all greyed/inactive (cant press).
strange, then how sure are you that you have set Android System as default ? or you can try installing another app with ringtone picker capability just to reset the default and then remove it. Maybe u can try zedge

Another method (maybe it will work) is to install another ringtone picker app to force the pop up.
I posted this question before but none reply on it. Just wanted to know is AOKP has issue with TTS engine. I can't make my phone speaks like in Google Now apps.
TTS engine no problem working as usual in google now and also my other apps
Just flashed AOKP, the text to speech is only working using Pico engine and not google engine in my phone. Pico voice is a bit robotic. Have to wait for a next release...
Nandroid restore to AOSP at the moment.
Not sure what went wrong for your installation but mine does still work using Google natural speech engine and it sounded exactly the same like in stock JB.
Hmmm maybe because I did a dirty flash over bigxie and the tts got carried over? Or is it an isolated problem or known issue for AOKP? Don't see others reporting this issue
