big question now is : 1) will issue 8 have an update stating that issue 9 will be T-54 instead Type 61 ?
2)will the type 61 appear for real in upcoming releases ?
3) will T-54 have background image will it hits bookstores ?

i'm going to see what version of issue 8 the book stores have. either it's the same or maybe it has an update and states that issue 9 will be T-54.

I dont know whether my friend is lying or not.but he told me,in order to get some interest in malaysia up and running,t72 will be dedicated to the Pendekar version,so much like Ameer's TUDM mig29. If it is true,hope that the paint job and details are good enough

Yes malaysia do have a t-72, it was made by polish company that rebranded it to PT91.Malaysian simply call it as pendekar!

Polish PT-91M is a T72 variant from what I just read. Hopes that it is true then.

Still i am sure that pt91 was a t72 variant. mahatir choose these model instead of offered t84 by ukraine,t90 by rusia,and leopard a2 by german.Reason? In exchange of coastal radar technology and horse breeding know how.
Still buying t72 does make some sense given the weight of the tank that very much suits malaysian soils.strange though that singapore did purchase as many as 80-120 leopard a1 which is heavier that our t72.
People did wonder why the more modern t84 or t90 were not chosen then..
