QUOTE(lucifah @ Nov 23 2012, 05:48 PM)
why does the CRV driver doesn't see a bunch of cruisers on convoy?

i mean, those ARE cruisers. they are big, loud and noisy
*
Reports seem vague. But I figured along the lines where the CRV exited Subang toward the highway, Damansara bound. CRV driver, a 39 year old lady - must have jet her vehicle all the way to the far right lane. Why did she not see the convoy, listing down possible causes since everyone is tight lipped about the incident as it involved high profile people:

CRV driver point of view:
1. Didnt check side and rear view mirror, before changing lanes - obviously!
2. Distraction - mobile phone, make up, adjust clothes and etc
3. Intoxicated
4. Another biker hater**
5. Suicidal attempt**

Bikers point of view:
1. Not within speed limit
2. Riding group formation too close to comfort
3. Faulty brakes

Note: Remarks marked ** is meant for discussion only, no pun intended.

Condolences and well wishing speedy recovery those involved in the accident.

IMO, obliviously the CRV is the root cause in this incident.

But on the other side and by your experience, what you think the most unsafe they did in that group? Did the Marshall really playing his role guiding the group in the safest move or by riders individual mistake?
Also, your opinion about the group we can see in youtube dragging their knees up and down Cameron, Kuala Klawang, Genting, kampung road  etc. They did even in rainy day. Hard core and dangerous not only to them but most important to other road user.
Im just few years in superbiking and just about to be track junkies. Just a small error on track can bring me to grass or gravel and from there, I feel very unsafe to be on road with that kind of riding/mentality/ attitude.

I cannot brain this  shakehead.gif
*
In my humble opinion, most unsafe they did was the following in the order of priority:

1. Ride too close
2. Way above speed limit
3. Being ignorant of not observing what is around

Riders whom drag their knees on public road is well aware of the consequences. Regardless of how experience they can be, I am sure they are ready for any sort of danger. Yes, it is inconsiderate and they should do it full blown on the track or place with controlled environment.

I am considered very new to this scene and still learning the ups & down of this trade.

Again, I am neither 1st, 2nd or 3rd party - hence am just speculating for the figure of speech and not meant to offend anyone.

But my following statements will be.

Convoy rides. I have seen, heard and happened right in front of me bullish behaviour of so called bikers in the sense of biking/riding spirit. All i can say to u retards is stick-you-up where the sun does not shine. And stop behaving like a fart-tard as if your clunky twins owns the road. Many has encountered them and just cause they are in that 2% group of our society that contributes a major portion to our Inland Revenue Board grants them rights to hog public access. Personally, this bunch of high society retards is giving us a bad name. Not mentioning the group that sprayed their STs, dress and strobe lighted trying to impersonate the cops. Bad enough I hate cops, and needless to say people trying to impersonate them - what the hell is wrong with their brain cells?!

On the brighter note, folks at /k/ & eidaman - of humble belongings, humble in the sense of how they carry themselves proved to be a more worthy bunch. They do things right and make it work - unlike those egg-tards thinking getting a bike gives them a badboy image.

That is the reason why I do not participate in a marshall-ed convoy. I ride with my buddies, friends & associates to have fun that shares the same passion with a goal set in mind. With that in mind, we watch out for each other and we are marshall-ing ourselves. There is no need for some bling-up pine-tard to set my pace.

junbecks, I do not have them personally. But rode with a z1000SX with Givi soft luggage - no issues at constant speeds of 180km/h.

hey guys can we discuss abut kopi lesen here?

i wann know what is the rate for b full. anyone?
*
RM1.5K. You do not even need to be present to take test and what not.

Like lucifah mention, you are taking a risk of just imprinting B next to whatever license you currently hold. I do not have any trustworthy source to get this done, so you are at your own risk.

haha the thing is. i got no experience riding anything. only bicycle lol

Let me share with you my personal experience. Back in March or April 2010, I bought my first big cc bike - a 2007 Kawasaki Z750. Paid full in cash with it - got my friend to ride it back as I have no experience riding bikes, except for 6 days in total of renting scooters in Krabi - period! You should see the look of the shop owner as he thought I was kidding about no experience riding bike - he look either anxious as if I am going to kill myself with that machine or thinking this dude is a real idiot. Within 2-3 months, I practise both on the Z750 and riding school. I only clocked a total of 4 hours of riding school and I was all set for the exam - and got my B-full license. Again, I had an upper advantage coz I have my own bike to practise on.

Trust me, if an idiot like me can do it - I truly believe anyone else could do so. To put it into another perspective, Malaysia motorcycle license is one of the easiest to pass in the world. I have nothing against you or anyone paying your way through - but to do it legit sure gives you a better self satisfaction.

Apart from the Z800 being the hottest thing now, looks like TV3/Majalah 3 also made a very "hot" report on bikes..sigh..

I guess I am one of the luckier lots where my wife would not give me an earful. Only problem I have is to find time to ride her - been more than a month and she is still 800kms..

Folks - since you guys have been doing videography and all, am contemplating to get a Hero3 silver and black. Black to be mounted for cockpit view where focus on tacho, speedo and view whats ahead. Silver to be used for other non cockpit view angles. Question is, can you folks share exactly where to mount the mounting points - not specific to bikes, but advise what I should be looking out for. I am a total noob in this.

Aiming for 2 minutes 40-44 seconds best timing based on full track course for both my bike & car. Bear in mind that I am still a track noobie.

Dont be deceived, its an Inspiralution!

Save the money and just get yourself a HJC RPS-10 or also known as RPHA10. Just make sure it fits you, thats the most important!

ZX636 2013 vs R6 2011
which one is better?

I have not tried 2011 R6 before - but based on looks, I prefer the ZX636.

What are you looking for between that 2 bikes?

I think no such thing as girl or girlie bike though. More creatures of the fairer sex now are more daring. Saw on facebook, Hornet Superbikers or something like that - a pretty thing is riding a zx10r!

I think i would shy away with my 636.
